Amazing Apartment. Great Location.
I've just come back from a week in Alghero with 2 friends and stayed in 2 bedroom Giallo Apt. I have to say, the pictures do not do justice to the apartment (in terms of size, airyness, brightness). It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The owners and the rental agent (Ashley) where there to meet us (even thought it was quite late on a Sunday evening). They showed us round the apartment and the various workings of it and showed us how to get to a few places to start us off.
The apartment its self is very big. We were all surprised how big, light and airy it was based on the pic's. The terrace is small, but perfectly formed. While you can't sunbath on it, it's more than enough space to eat and put clothes out to dry.
There's a lovely little kitchen with everything you need for your stay (fridge, cooker, washing machine, plates, cups, pots and pans). We cooked lunch every day in the apartment without bother.
It's located in a very quiet residential area and there's a lovely little beach 5mins walk away (the rental agent showed us where it was on a map and it was dead easy to find). We walked everywhere as it was only really a 10min walk from anywhere. There's a big supermarket nearby for all your shopping needs!
Even though it was very hot outside, we could always get a nice breeze flowing through the apartment to keep thing at a nice level. Even on the hottest day (about 39degrees) we could sit comfortable inside with a nice breeze blowing through.
All in all, I would have no hesitation recommending the apartment to anyone who is thinking of staying in Alghero. You really can't go wrong in such a lovely, clean, modern and friendly apartment.
