Nemo in Favieres near Disneyland Paris
We stayed in the Nemo apartment for a week in August 2009. The apartment is the ground floor of a house, there is another apartment on the upper floor. The house can also be rented complete, becoming one accommodation by simply unlocking a door on the ground floor. There were people living upstairs, but we barely knew they were there -very little noise intrudes from one apartment to the other. The apartment was spacious and clean, with comfortable seats and beds, and plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. There is the usual range of cooker, microwave, freezer and fridge. There's an impressive home cinema (TV/DVD/CD/Satellite) but no English TV channels - take your own DVDs. The house is very secure ( lockable driveway gates, electric shutters), with private parking. It is far enough into the countryside to be peaceful, but close enough (15-20 mins by car) to Val d'Europe and Disneyland to be convenient. You can catch the RER to Paris from either of these two. We parked at Disney and bought a ticket which gave us return RER travel to Paris and use of buses, trains and Metro for the day for only 13 euros per adult - a bargain. You can drive into Paris ( we did ) but parking can be a problem. If you have a car with you, take the time to visit the palace of Versailles ( less than an hour's drive ). It is amazing. The owners were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We did not need anything during our stay, but they made it clear that they could be contacted anytime on their mobile phone, which was very reassuring. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, and would probably rent it again if we return to Paris. AND - You get to feed Nemo!
