Antigua Vacation Rental villa: Long Bay

The villa is absolutely great and the view is amazing.
The attention in every single detail of the house makes you feel so confy and "at home".We spent a lot of time snorkeling in the bay which is full of lobsters,octopus and sting ray.
A plus is the game room where you can play pool watching the sea.The cliff is always breezy and you won't suffer for the humidity.
The manager and the staff were very kind.

When the 8 of us arrived at the villa (a convenient 20 mins from the airport) all we could say was 'wow'. It is a beautiful property with stunning ocean views from every bedroom - waking up to watch the sunrise from bed was such a treat. We spent a lot of time in the infinity pool (again, outstanding views) and sunbathing (or, for some, shadebathing in the gazebo). On a few days we explored other beaches on the island - Ffryes Beach and Half Moon Bay recommended - and had a particularly nice lunch one day at The Reef restaruant at English Harbour. In the evenings when we weren't down at the beach bar at Long Bay, we enjoyed big family meals back at the villa and made use of the pool table and dart board there!

The villa has been beautifully furnished and it was spotlessly clean, fully equipped (there's every implement you could possibly require in the kitchen) and was attended by the maid who comes daily during the week. Its location is ideal - it sits on a quiet penninsula but with Long Beach just a few hundred metres away. Highlights included snorkelling off the back of the property (there are steps that lead from the property down to the bay) and dining out at Mama Pastas (at Long Beach). Even though it was low season (late June) the weather was nice and hot and there were still many restaurants open on the island for when we fancied eating out.

We had a wonderful holiday and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a villa in Antigua.

My family stayed at Kulala for a week, and wished we had gone for longer. Very stylish and comfortable, we loved the detailing which made it like a home, rather than just a rental villa. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and a pleasure to cook in, it made catering on holiday easy. We did eat out a couple of times, Mama Pasta down the road did excellent pizzas and their old fashioned rum punch went down easily. The beach at Long Bay we decided was the nicest on the island, although Half Moon Bay came a close second. We snorkelled in the bay in front of the house, saw a turtle, lobster, and a moray eel. The staff were great, and the house manager met us at the house and showed us how everything worked, explained everything, and was close by should we have needed her, but we didnt! The Balinese gazebo was our favourite place to relax with a book, and a glass of wine, and watch the pelicans diving into the bay. All in all a great villa, and we would recommend this to anyone. Hope to be back one of these days.
