Villa Delapan is an excellent place to stay while visiting Bali. The location in Canggu is perfectly situated away from the busy streets of Kuta, Legian, & Seminyak, yet close enough to these areas that you can enjoy them at your leisure. Accessing other areas like Medewi, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua are also convenient.

We were very impressed with the design of the villa. The 3 bedrooms are on separate floors which is great for privacy. The master suite is on the lower level and has a beautiful private deck with a wading pool and massage area. The living room and deck were perfect for lounging and visiting. The layout is excellent and the gardens and koi pond give the villa a very relaxing vibe. The villa's location in the complex is great as it backs onto a creek and rice paddy.

The infinity pool is beautiful and perfectly refreshing. Bring a floaty mattress for maximum enjoyment.

The staff were incredibly thoughtful, efficient and friendly. We enjoyed several meals that the chef prepared for dinner. The quality and quantity of food was fantastic. The breakfasts prepared by Putu, Njoman and/or Made were always hot and fresh - a great start to each day.

We also used the driver on several occasions. He knew excellent short cuts and was able to make the necessary travel arrangements and reservations at the local hot spots. For instance, he took the initiative to find a surf rack for the van so we didn't have to ride with them inside. He took us to several amazing restaurants....Ku De Ta, EVO and Nuri's BBQ - all highly recommended. He took great care of us and safety was always a priority.

The media room was fully stocked with recent movies and old favourites. This was a great option when it rained in the evening. The internet service was good.

There are excellent restaurants close to the villa. Some of them will deliver. I recommend the Echo Beach bbq on the weekend. The Betelnut Cafe had excellent smoothies and cheap wheatgrass shots. They also had great veggie and gluten free options. Red Salt cafe is also convenient and tasty.

I also recommend renting a moped. It's convenient and cheap. The spa services provided through the villa were also a nice addition.

I highly recommend staying at Villa Delapan. The owner was helpful and organized. Everything in the villa was well maintained and clean. Bugs were not a problem. Our group had a great vacation and the villa was a major highlight of the trip.
