Villa Docciolina is located in the heart of Tuscany in the Chianti wine-producing region. It is ideally positioned to enjoy the peace of the Tuscan countryside and for visits to the historic towns in the area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dining table seating 8. The master bedroom has an ensuite, and there are three further bedrooms two of which are twin bedded and three further bathrooms. The comfortable lounge has an open fireplace and picture windows along one side with fantastic views over the Tuscan countryside. There is also a billiard room with full size billiard table. Outside there is a furnished terrace and a private pool located below the house. The pool has a paved surround with sun loungers and a covered gazebo with table and chairs - perfect for outside dining. There is also a separate pool area suitable for children. The views from the pool and terrace are quite breathtaking.

Villa Docciolina nestles in the peaceful Tuscan hillside, only a short distance from the hamlets of Panca, 1km away, and Cintoia, 4km away, where there are a few shops and some good restaurants. The nearest towns are Greve and Strada in Chianti, both of which are 8km away, in Greve there is also a market on Saturday mornings. Greve is considered the most typical of the cities in the Chianti Classico area. Located half way between Florence and Siena the area surrounding Greve is well know for its beauty while the city offers a good selection of shops, cafes and choice of restaurants. It is worth visiting the 19th century Matteotti Square, the beautiful loggias and the small Santa Croce Square in the town. The villa is ideally place for day excursions to Florence 30km, Siena 60km, San Gimignano 60km and Pisa 100km, as well as exploring the smaller towns and villages.
