Photos and Description of the Teignmouth vacation castle rental A taste of grandure with lots of character, a memorable experience

Unique listed folly said to be styled on Balmoral and recently converted for holiday rental. Many unique features and lots of history can be seen at the house website. Outstanding sea and estuary views from every window. A short walk from Teignmouth town centre and sea front and easy driving access to Dawlish, Shaldon, Torquay, Dartmoor and Exeter plus many other south Devon attractions. The property has plenty of space with 5 large bedrooms, 3 double and 2 twin beds. Please note the tower room is only accessible by a two story spiral staircase. It has fantastic views and a unique character but can be difficult for elderly or disabled people to access. Two bathrooms, one with steam shower room. Large garden and ample parking. Large lounge diner where you can sit and eat dinner overlooking the sea.

New letting this year: Yannon towers has just been converted in 2009. Kitchen and bathrooms are all new but the character and features are all original. We plan to continually upgrade the facilities over the next few years into 5 star luxury accomodation, although it's already pretty nice.

We spent a week at Yannon Towers and loved it. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped, and has a lot of charm.

The owner was friendly and helpful; the garden was large and pleasant; and it was only a short walk down to Teignmouth and the beach.

There is really nothing negative to report on the property at all. It's a great place for a holiday, especially for a large group that doesn't want to get in each other's way all the time (there were 10 of us, 4 adults and 6 children, and we thought it would be a bit of a crush- but it wasn't at all).

In short, thoroughly recommended.
