This traditional red sandstone town house is ideally situated a minutes walk from the beach and a short stroll into the town centre of Ayr. The apartment is on the first floor of the property. It has two spacious bedrooms 12 x 12ft a large lounge15 x 14ft and a separate dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a WC and also a shower room with toilet. Entertainment includes flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and an ipod docking station. Off the hallway is a large storage cupboard ideal for golf clubs or pushchair. There is a travel cot and high chair in the property. There is a separate laundry/drying room that gives access to the garden with seating area. The property has been fully renovated and refurbished in Spring 2009.

Ayr is an attractive small historic town with an excellent selection of restaurants and shops in walking distance. It has a theatre,cinemas,bowling alley,putting green and children's play area. Burns cottage is only 3 miles away where the Tam O'Shanter experience will teach you about the famous Scottish poet. Glasgow with all its attractions is easily reached by train or car in under an hour and Edinburgh and Stirling are reached in under 2 hours and so Ayr is an excellent base for touring. The isle of Arran is a short ferry trip from Ardrossan and is a base for golfing,cycling and walking. Ayrshire is renowned for golf with more than 30 courses in the area, the first open having been played at Prestwick. Ayr racecourse has a full season with the Scottish national being held here every year. Loudoun Castle Theme Park has rides to suit all ages and a visit to Culzean castle is a must for those interested in history or just wish to visit the beautiful grounds.

Absolutely perfect for a family to stay. We were in Ayr with our two children and we enjoyed the very clean and comfortable flat, the beach, Culzean castle, Ayr, Liz and the soccer girls and Mags.
Thank you for a wonderful time.
We will recommend the property to our friends.

Nice flat in a great location. Close to beach, play areas and shops. Kids loved Pirate Petes and outside playground.
Perfect for a trip to Ayr with a young family.
Flat was well appointed, containing everything we needed.
Very spacious with loads of room for a family of 4.
Parking permit was very handy
Would definitely recommend to others and use again.

Absolutely wonderful, highly recommend
Generous 2 bed unit, both king size beds, had everything you would need and in a great location
Mags and Liz were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay
Very clean and beautifully fitted out
Only thing I can suggest is internet access would be convenient
Thankyou so much, we will definitley recommend and hopefully return one day!

Lovely apartment. Property is equipped with everything you need. Beautiful traditional apartment very tastefully decorated. Lovely big rooms too. Wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to return!!

This place was absolutely amazing. From the minute we got there we couldn't belive the size of it! I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone!!!

Its was very well maintained and felt just like home!
The shower was really nice! i want one like that at home!!
The service was perfect as well.

we found an amazing indian restaurant called The rupee room that i would also highly recommend. Its just around the corner.

you can see the sea from the flat and i would say it is 100 metres away which is alot less than described.
