Amazing for a Family holiday - stunning views!

  • 5 of 5
An Amazing house for a family holiday.

We stayed in this house over the New Year 2013/2014. The views are stunning - the pictures don't do it justice. There are sea views from all five bedrooms and the living room and kitchen. It really is such a beautiful scenic place to stay. The fireworks over the bay were stunning.

The wi-fi is great and the fact there are four bathrooms means there are never any queues. It's a great size and feels like a real home.

Excellent holiday home and we'd love to go back in the future.

Simply Stunning Home Away From Home- FAB!

  • 5 of 5
Wow! I can not recommend this holiday home enough. It truely is amazing. Big enough for a large group of people which makes it great value too!

The house is in a stunning elevated position overlooking the sea - what views from the house & garden ( most nights were spent outside sitting around the barbecue table taking in the views & the spectacular bank holiday firework display). The split level garden is an excellent place to sit and relax and for children to play hide & seek.

The house has all the space you need. Four bathrooms so no congestion. Washing & drying facilities and a super fully stocked kitchen dinner which is so well designed that everything flows easily and cooking is a pleasure.

The house is literally 5 minutes from the centre of Aberdovey which has a super sandy beach, a pier where the children spent many hours crabbing, a lifeboat station and a lovely selection of shops - the children particularly enjoyed the ice cream parlour on the way back each night! There are lots of great restaurants and take aways too.

There are also lots of great day trips in the surrounding area.

We can not recommend The Old Vicarage enough - you will love it. We enjoyed it so much that we will be going back next year. so get your booking in early!

The Old Vicarage, Aberdovey

  • 5 of 5
We rented the property for last week in August and found the property very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. The views from all bedrooms are stunning, and it was wonderful to watch all the nautical activities from such a vantage point.
The local beaches were fantastic for surfing, dog walking and safe swimming and the owner's tips were most helpful.
Would thoroughly recommend the property.

Golfers have a ball

  • 5 of 5
I'm a keen golfer, and had a ball in Abderdyfi. The local course is only five minutes away and of excellent standard, with extremely friendly locals, and we also drove down to St. David's, a famously scenic course that is less than an hour away. Fortunately there are a lot of beaches to explore along the coast, so the girls were only too happy to wave the men on to the course.

We took the house in late October/ early November, and were lucky enough to catch some evening fireworks displays out across the bay, all without having to leave the garden. The sunsets were an experience too – the view from the house across Aberdyfi is stunning.

As for the house, the bedrooms were sizable and comfortable, and the kitchen and living room warm and homely. The owners were very easy to deal with, and very helpful when it came to any questions we had.

Go stay.
