This lovely apartment is located just a 20 minute drive from Valencia airport & the city's attractions. You can enjoy the city centre attractions and the stunning sandy beaches of this region, as well as discover the charming, traditional Spanish towns and villages and stunning inland, rural scenery plus play golf - all in 1 holiday!

After exploring the local area or playing golf, you can enjoy a relaxing drink on your balcony & admire uninterrupted views of the 9th hole. As this apartment is only 150 metres from the club house, it is conveniently located for the bar & restaurant (which is also open to non-golfers). Wi-fi internet access is now available in the club house.

This 2 bedroom apartment has a well equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave & fridge freezer. Both bedrooms have twin beds & there is an en-suite bathroom from bedroom 1. A travel cot is also available for families with babies.

The open plan lounge has a TV, DVD player & CD player, plus there is an indoor dining table with 6 chairs & the patio doors open onto a good sized balcony with outdoor table & chairs so you can also enjoy al-fresco meals with fabulous views of the golf course.

There is a fantastic, large communal swimming pool so you can enjoy lazy days relaxing and sunbathing, or the children can have fun in the pool. A key is provided for the pool area as it is a residents only pool (not open to golf members). There is also a small playground for younger children.

When you are ready to get out and explore Valencia, there is so much to see in this amazing city. A 'must' is to visit the futuristic City of Science and Arts (which includes the amazing Oceangraphic aquarium), Bioparc Zoo & Jardin del Turia.

Valencia is steeped in history as the cathedral is said to be the home of the Holy Grail. Don't forget to climb the tower for stunning views over the city. Then take time to discover the Barrio Carman (old quarter) with its old cobbled streets & plazas. There are many interesting monuments, museums & parks to explore as well as lots of art galleries.

Other places of interest are the La Lonja de la Seda (the former silk exchange), the Bull ring & Mercardo (the traditional, large indoor market).

Plus there is also the modern marina built to host the America's Cup & old port to explore. Football fans should visit Mestalla (the home of the Valencia football team).

Just off the A7 motorway (near the airport) is the Bonaire shopping mall with lots of outlets stores and shops such as Mango, Zara, Primark plus many more, an Al Campo hypermarket, lots of restaurants and fast food outlets to choose from plus a cinema and bowling.

The Valencian region also has stunning scenery to explore with lakes, mountains, rural & historical towns & villages. Walkers will enjoy the Sierra Calderona natural park with its unspoilt sea views, pine forests & well marked footpaths. The Reserva Muele de Cortes is another lovely nature reserve.

Closer to the coast is the Albufera freshwater lagoon & the stunning long sandy beaches of El Saler. Try the paella at El Palmer (home of Valencian paella). Other nice beaches are Cullera and Sagunto.

This is an important agricultural area of Spain, therefore all kinds of fresh produce is grown locally. You will see the fruit trees and grapevines is the surrounding fields and valleys. You can even take a winery tour in the nearby town of Requena.

Take time to visit the warm water canyon at Montanejos, admire the Navajas waterfalls, sail through the beautiful Coves of Saint Joseph or discover the historical towns of Xativa & Sagunto.

Other activities on offer in the region include boat hire, sailing lessons, wind-surfing, jet-ski, diving lessons, fishing, cycling, horse riding, motor racing events & golf.

Experience local Spanish culture & stay at the villa during a fiesta such as Las Fallas (15-19 March) & La Tomatina .. the tomato throwing festival in nearby Bunol (last Wednesday in August).

Travel information: Car hire is recommended. Fly into Valenica Manises airport, and it is only a 25 minutes drive to the house. Fly to Valencia with Easyjet from London Gatwick. Ryanair now fly to Valencia from London Stansted, Manchester, East Mids, Dublin, Bristol, Frankfurt, Brussels, Dusseldorf.

We have also had guests fly into Alicante which is about a 3 hour drive away or even Barcelona. the motorway network is very good in Spain. It is cheaper to pre-book car hire before you travel.

We send a travel pack before you travel with directions from the airport, key information, emergency contact details plus at the house is a guest manual with ideas of where to shop, eat out and places to visit during your holiday.

If you don't want to drive into Valencia, it is cheap & easy to catch the drive from Chiva or the metro from Torrent.

Rental Rate Information:

- Some GREEN FEE offers are usually available - please ask for more details.

- BOOK 2 WEEKS and receive a £25 DISCOUNT.

- LONG STAY rentals are available. Please get in touch for any stays over 4 weeks for a discounted rate.

- We may be able to accommodate short stays in the low season (excluding July/ August). Please email for details.

- Rental price is based upon 4 sharing. A 5th person can be accommodated and there is an extra charge of £25 for this extra person.

- Please note: A maximum of 2 children + 1 baby are allowed to stay at the apartment.

- Deposit: 25% of total rental price to be paid within 7 days of booking being confirmed. Balance: Payable 10 weeks before departure together with a security deposit of £100. The security deposit will be banked and fully refunded within 28 days of return provided that there are no damage/ breakages/ excessive use of electricity (or any other breach of holiday agreement). If you fail to pay the balance when due, your booking may be cancelled.

- Cancellations: More than 10 weeks prior to arrival: loss of deposit.10-8 weeks prior: 50% of total rental rate will be refunded. 7-5 weeks prior: 25% of total rental rate will be refunded. 4-0 weeks prior: 0% refund. Please note, if you are booking within 10 weeks of your departure date, this is classed as a late booking & the total rental amount is due within 7 days of the booking being confirmed.

- Payment is normally only accepted in the quoted currency and is to be paid in £sterling. The approximate equivalent amounts are to be used as a guide only as all actual payments amounts & method of payment in alternative currencies are to be agreed in advance between the advertiser/ owner & the guest.

- Preferred method of payment is UK sterling bank transfer. We can also accept Euro payments. Payment can be accepted from non-sterling countries via international bank transfer or Paypal. There may be a small additional charge to cover the bank/ Paypal charges. Please ask for details.

- Once your booking is confirmed, the price is fixed and will not change. However, we reserve the right to change the published prices for new bookers during the holiday season depending on availability.

- It is mandatory that you have your own personal travel insurance. We can not accept personal claims

About Nicola Rides

I run a small holiday lettings business called Maison-Sol Holiday Rentals and currently rent out a total of 11 properties in Spain and Turkey. I rent this apartment on behalf of the owners and have visited it, so please feel free to ask any questions. I have worked in the travel industry for a package holiday company before setting up my own business, and have been renting out holiday properties now for 8 years. I also own my own holiday home in Turkey.

This apartment is located in a fantastic spot on the El Bosque golf course development. The owners bought this property as they are golfers and this apartment offers fabulous views over the 9th hole of the course. Both golfers and non-golfers enjoy staying here as it is a lovely spot but is also conveniently close to the clubhouse with its restaurant and bar. Plus there is a supermarket within a 5 minutes drive for all your holiday provisions.

What makes this apartment unique

This is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms so is great for couples or families staying on holiday. It features a lovely balcony for dining al-fresco with nice views of the 9th green. Our guests choose to stay for a whole variety of different play golf or to visit the events at the Ricardo Tormo racing track. We also have many guests who choose to stay in the apartment for a holiday to visit Valencia and the surrounding area. Plus there's a large communal swimming pool for lazy sunbathing days.

Wonderful 2 bedroom apartement next to lovely pool

Wonderful, well equipped, quiet and very clean 2 bedroom apartement with a nice size balcony overlooking the green lawns of the golf club El Bosque. The appartment was exactly as described and all the directions we received were accurate and easy to follow. We had a lovely time together with our two teenagers . The very spacious pool is only a 2 minutes walk away. The pool area is extremely well kept and looked after. There were always two life guards present.
There are many nice villages to visit within 20 km range ( Chiva, Godelleta, Turis, the wonderful Nature Park Albufera ) and of course the city Valencia has numerous sights to offer. There is a very good supermarket only 5 min drive by car. The apartement is a true place to relax but also an excellent base from where you can explore beautiful nature and the city of Valencia.
The only comment we have is that having visited in August the balcony gets very sunny in the afternoon and too hot to enjoy sitting outside. A parasol would be helpful.Other than that we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this porperty.

Fabulous family apartment close to Valencia

We had a great week at El Bosque - really delighted with the apartment. Very peaceful location with lovely views....many an evening spent on the balcony sipping Rioja.

Apartment is spacious enough and nicely laid out - kept spotlessly clean by Shirley and Paul, and everything in working order.... air con wonderful for an August break as outside temps we're nearing 40c on some days.

Shared pool is huge and was actually fairly quiet - staffed by friendly lifeguards and kept really clean. Our kids loved it. Plenty of sun loungers with parasols and loads space to sunbathe in peace & quiet.

Local supermarket 5 mins drive away had all we needed.

Valencia was just a short hop down the motorway and was a brilliant day trip destination for us with three kids under 12. The City of Arts & Sciences is a must - especially the Aquarium.

Booking, customer service & pre-stay admin from Nicola at Maison-Sol Holiday Rentals was first class.

Overall, ideal holiday rent for a quiet break with a great pool, but in quick reach of Valencia. Will very likely stay here again. Great value & very highly recommended!

Perfect apartment.

The apartment and the location where perfect, the golf course is around the corner and the view of the balcony is perfect. Paul and Shirley (the local contacts) are very nice and very helpful people. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The travel pack we received was very helpful and detailed. we found 2 nice restaurants in Valencia, el Pederniz and Casa montana. Here we had the best tapas ever.
The apartment was very clean on arrival.

We had a great holiday and we will return, that's for sure.

Great Apartment

The listing description was accurate, save that it fails to say during the winter months there is a lack of facilities, i.e. the bar/restaurant in the Club House was closed by 7pm. The tennis club was also closed on the Saturday night, it was open on the Friday night, but was a way away from the apartment so not really ideal anyway.
The apartment, however, was very good, clean, well-equipped and maintained. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony overlooking the course. It was also a very peaceful location.
The agent was very good, we were well informed and our security deposit was refunded very quickly.
We would highly recommend the apartment.
We stayed here as we were attending the Motogp at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit. It was a great location for attending the circuit, a 10 minute drive and you were parked up at the circuit, no traffic queues.
There were a few very good, very reasonably priced, local bars/restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive from the apartment.

You have pointed out some of the benefits of staying here such as the quiet location, the apartment's situation on the golf course with the views of the greens and we are happy that you found the apartment to be a good standard and was also happy with the booking service.

I'm sorry to hear that some of the communal facilities such as the golf club restaurant closed early but this is probably due your stay being out of the summer season (in November). However i'm delighted that you found the nearby local restaurants to be good value.

This apartment is situated a short 10 mins drive off exit 337 of A3 Valencia-Madrid motorway & is located on a quiet street within the golf development/ community. As well as the on-site clubhouse, there is also another restaurant (Asador) within 5 mins drive towards the motorway.

The 'Consum' supermarket is also only 5 mins drive away for all your provisions. This is a really well stocked supermarket where you can get all your holiday provisions for self-catering. There is also a bar/ cafeteria (Cafe Nelsey) and small play park next to the supermarket as well as an ATM cash machine and pharmacy. Drive a little further along this road and you'll reach the Asador restaurant.

Godelleta village is 10 minutes away with some small shops, cafes, playground, bank & chemist. The larger town of Chiva is 20 minutes away with more restaurants, shops, internet cafes & the train into Valencia. You can buy cheap, local wine from the nearby co-operatives & enjoy it with an al-fresco meal on the balcony overlooking the golf course.

Therefore this apartment is in a great location for those wanting to explore Valencia but don't want to stay in the hustle & bustle of the city, & for people visiting events at the Ricardo Tormo GP Moto circuit (Cheste) and other golf courses in Valencia. You can be sunbathing on the stunning, sandy beaches of Malvarossa, Cabenyal-Arena & El Saler in just over 30 minutes drive from the apartment.

Other activities include: Valencia city sightseeing, Bioparc zoo, Aquarium at the city of Science and Arts, Bonaire retail outlet, sandy beaches, El Saler natural park, walking, golf, GP Moto, wine tours, cycling plus much more.


Plus there are another 7 golf courses in the region so you can play on El Bosque and use this as your base and visit one of these other courses during your stay:

Escorpian - just 20km north of Valencia at Betera. It has three separate nine-hole golf courses which can be played in different combinations to make up 18 holes.

Mediterraneo Golf - to the north of Valenica, is another 'hidden gem'. With 18 holes & par 72, it is 6823 metres long & has received the European P.G.A award. The 1st 9 holes are relatively flat & the last 9 are undulating so provide some great variety.

Forressos - a new 18 hole par 72, 6364 metre course just 30 kms away.

El Saler - just 20 km south of Valencia & situated close to the sea in the Albufera National Park, this course was voted the 2nd best golf course in Europe by Golf World. This 18-hole, 72 par course has held a number of Spanish Opens and is ranked No.29 in the world.

Oliva Nova - situated close to the resort town of Oliva, near Denia, this course has top class golf facilities & was voted the best of all Seve Ballesteros' designed courses. With 18-hole, 6270 metres, par 72, it has hosted the Peugeot Oki Spanish National Championship on 4 occasions.

Gandia Colf Course - this 6 hole golf course is perfect to play as a warm up on the way to Oliva Nova or why not combine a round whilst having a day out exploring the local area?

Manises Golf Club - just 8 km west of Valencia, this is a 9 hole golf course so combine a round with a visit into Valencia city.

The El Bosque golf development is surrounded by green pine forests & countryside. The nearby Clubhouse has a bar/ restaurant plus there is a large communal swimming pool and playground. A new Consum supermarket has opened close to El Bosque which is convenient for groceries.
