Come and stay in our gorgeous, sunny and quiet flat on the top floor of a classic old Paris building, just yards from the fabulous rue Mouffetard street market in Paris’ wonderful 5th arrondissement. The flat has all the typical Paris features you could dream of: parquet floors, moulded ceilings, marble fireplaces, full-length windows and small balconies at every window. Because it is at the top, it is incredibly bright and sunny on both sides, with open aspects to the back, a through breeze on hot days, and no neighbours walking about above your head! The spacious sitting room gets the morning sun, while the kitchen is a joy, with all that you need to produce gourmet meals. The flat comes fully-equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, ceiling fans, and power shower. Phone calls to UK landlines are free, and there is a PC with broadband internet access. You will be welcomed by a professional, English speaking hostess. This is our home too. Be our guests!

The apartment is on a quiet street, but right in the middle of a bustling neighborhood with an abundance of cafés and restaurants, shops and cinemas. We are just a stone’s throw from the rue Mouffetard, a classic Parisian street – narrow and cobble-stoned, it is host to a daily fresh produce market. We are also just minutes from the Pantheon, la Sorbonne, Notre Dame, the Seine, the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Jardin des Plantes.

Wow ! What an EXCELLENT apartment for your stay in Paris! Description VERY accurate ( too modest I reckon!!!) , flat is very clean and well maintained. Full kitchen and laundry services in apartment. EXCELLENT for when you get home from a big day out sight seeing and just want to relax and rest and have a quiet night in!Access to all transport a breeze so getting to anywhere is really easy . Close location to excellent fresh food markets and lots of "Paris feel" to make you believe you are one of the locals. I would recommend this property very highly to any one going to Paris. A far better alternative to a hotel and a terrific rate for Australian travellers looking for plenty of space and a "homey" feel.
Something to be aware of is that the elevator to the apartment is small. This is no problem except when arriving with lots of baggage. Might need more than one trip if there are 2 or more of you plus your cases.
Very safe area and extremely quiet.
Great boulangeries everywhere!! Wine shops and restaurants all good in nearby Rue Mouffetard.
Try going down the road also to Rue Monge and Place Monge for great eats and cafes as well.
Walk to Notre Dame , Panthoen , Lux Gardens and Left Bank sights.
Catch the number 7 Metro line to Hotel de Ville and walk across little bridge to Isle de St Loius for the BEST icecream in the world!!
There are also quaint shops and restaurants on this little island not to be overlooked or missed - don't believe all that you read that Isle de St Louis is more expensive than anywhere else in Paris.
Eat drink and be merry intheis fabulous apartment and surrounds - wyou won;t ever want to leave!!!
I know I am gushing about this apartment but it REALLY is that great- probably a mistake as it will be even more popular and harder to rent in the future.
Also don't forget to use the number 27 bus for a view of Paris from the roads as you travel about rather than taking the Metro each time.
Pack a scarf and even some gloves for the chill that appears out of nowhere and you will be all set for a fantastic experience!!

Spacious, extremely comfortable, clean, fully equipped and well-located apartment. We were warmly welcomed and the key-holder could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and giving advice on the area. The apartment was quiet but close to plenty of wonderful local shops, resaturants and street market. Would highly recommend this apartment: we are looking forward to a return visit. It beats staying in a hotel any day!
