Villa Rana lies in a quiet urbanisation outside the typical Spanish village of Santa Cristina d'Aro. At the heart of the Costa Brava, everything is at hand: the blue sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, the ski-resorts of the Pyrenees and not to forget the airport of Girona at half an hour served by Ryanair. The villa is situated at a small square without traffic. You enter the villa at the first floor, where the 3 bedrooms are situated. The master bedroom with bathroom ensuite and air-conditioned, and two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Downstairs there is a large kitchen, fully equipped, with a dining table, another bathroom and the living room with television/Hi-Fi/DVD set. From the living room you have access to the terrace. From here you have a view at your private pool. The garden surrounds the house and there is a large separate garage available.

Santa Cristina d'Aro is a typical Spanish village in the heart of the Costa Brava at half an hour of Girona airport, one hour from Barcelona and two hours from the ski resorts in the Pyrenees. At a short drive from the villa you'll find a lot of beautiful beaches surrounded by cliffs, such as S'Agaro, Sa Conca or Sant Feliu de Guixols. Typical villages include the fishing village of Palamos and the medieval villages Pals, Peralada and Begur. By road along the spectacular coast you reach Tossa de Mar with the old walled fortified old city. Girona is really worth a visit with an old historical centre. Further ahead you'll find the Banyoles lake and the old volcanic area of the Garrotxa. From the villa you can easily explore the Gavarres mountain range by bike or following one of the well marked trails. Finally you'll end up in one of the many good restaurants which serve typical local dishes with fresh fish, meat and vegetables. Especially the old masias are a good choice for eating out
