Our villa is an oasis of peace and tranquillity on the south eastern coast of Mallorca. The property located only a short walk from the white sand beach of Cala Santanyi, is waterfront and only a stone's throw away from direct sea access. Surrounded by sea, pines and olive groves, whether you stay a week or longer, you will find it easy to leave the rest of the world behind. The quaint village of Santanyi is only minutes away and holds much to explore from lovely boutiques, delicious restaurants and a much sought after traditional weekly market. The lovely seaports of Porto Petro or Cala Figuera are a short car ride away and offer quaint seaside restaurants, as well as daily yachting and fishing outings. This side of the island is dotted with little known pristine coves and beaches, delightful monasteries and a nature reserve.

History: The house has been in the family for 3 generations, with all the children having learned to swim off the Majorcan coast, we know the region better than anyone so please, whether you are looking for the best baker, wine merchant, antique shop or restaurant, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help you discover the island we love.

Wonderful house and fantastic holiday

My family had a really special holiday here. The house has wonderful views - that can be seen from the terrace where we ate, large bedrooms and nice, clean bathrooms. The kitchen contained everything we needed. The pool was perfect - our three small children loved it and the contained courtyard and garden - and it was all completely safe. This house is perfect for a holiday for just adults (there is lots of space and privacy, it is the perfect venue for late night dinners, and even has its own private access to the sea) and for families with small children - as it is safe and clean. It is walking distance to local shops, the local beach and a short drive to Palma and other interesting spots. It was a perfect holiday and our children are asking when they can go back! I highly recommend it.

Great holiday getaway for family and friends

We loved our recent holiday here. I was concerned at first about taking the children to a waterfront villa with a pool but was delighted to find that the pool was completely (and elegantly) secured. Also, the gardens and terraces can be closed off so that we could relax and let the children run around without a worry.

The beach is just down the road and we actually found that the best spot was to go directly to the sea off the coast at the bottom of the property. Also, we loved the fact that the beach was not overcrowded with tourists but was more local in feel.

And there was something new to do every day to keep the children happy and tired in the evening...

If I have one thing to say is that the pictures on the website don't do it justice. The rooms were not huge but all really comfortable. And the beds were gorgeous! We actually all slept really well which if a miracle for my husband!

The village of Santanyi is really lovely with a great food and organic produce market twice per week. We went early as it does attract tourists. We visited all around and tried some of the owner's recommended restaurants which were great but I have to admit that the best spot we saw was actually where we stayed. So the second week, we chose to stay in and put the boys on bbq service. We all loved it -especially me once the kids were in bed! -

Truly a fantastic holiday. The kids said it "was the best ever"! In fact, we're going back this summer! This time with the nanny in tow- she'll be staying in a completely self contained and really comfortable studio - she's thrilled and so are we! Palma nightlife here we come.... who am I kidding, we'll still be having stargazing nights, delicious local wine on the terrace and still probably up early to see the sunrise over the fields behind the house. - 'can't wait!!
