Friendly villa with private pool. Lovely views, Ideal family holiday home .The villa offers a covered terrace ideal for alfresco eating. A large sun terrace next to the pool with sun loungers. The villa comprises of the following: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom a further double sofa bed in the sun room. The villa comfortably sleeps family of 4/5 but can sleep 6 . Shower room with WC open plan living room with wood burning fire . Sky TV and DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen Small utility room with washing machine. Large supermarket a 3 minute walk away. Nice restaurant 200 meters away .Beach 2 km with bus service running hourly in the summer.

The town of Pals is divided in 3 areas: Pal, Masos de Pals and Platja de Pals and has a population of 1,800 inhabitants. The old part, as most old towns of the area, is situated on top of a hill called Mont Aspr and is surrounded by ponds and marshlands which were dried out to enable rice to be cultivated. The first historical documents which refer to Pals are from the IX century but the origin of the town is much older. Masos de Pals: in the XIX century the area of Masos de Pals was made up of some farm houses which have an architectural interest belonging to the XV-XVI century and a church from the XVIII century. Platja de Pals: the beach of Pals stretches for 3.5 km and is an ideal place to practise all kinds of water sports.

very good base for exploring everything the costa brava has to offer -- beaches, sights, coves, barcelona, girona, etc. A car is a must as you will not be able to walk down the street for nightlife or daytime activity (shops/sports/beach etc) - while there is one restuarant nearby, you will need the car to go further afield. great pool, views, and comfortable for 4 (2 A/2children) -- more would be a bit busy. good value and we would come back.

great place to stay ,have used this property a few times before and find it clean and close to supermarket,beach and restaurants .nice large private pool with plenty of outside space.close to golf courses and airport.plenty to see and do for all ages.would highly recommend.

The Best Ever ...

What a lovely family home. We all had a great time. After breakfast of fresh coissants from the local bakery (2 mins away) eaten al fresco on the patio we retired to the pooside to sunbathe and watch the children play in the pool. Evenings are special, choosing which local restaurant to eat at - all very close. Some nights we went to Pals Beach (5 mins by car) to eat on the beach, while the children played close by.
Another interesting time was spent visiting the small town/village of Pals, great little shops and fantastic views. Don't miss Parafrugell on a Saturday evening for the local dancing in the square or lunch at Begur (also great in the evening with street vendors and great restaurants. We loved it. Enjoy!
