The villa sits on a large estate of 150hectares producing chianti classico wine and extra virgin olive oil. The forest is full of wildlife such as pheasant, wild boar, hares, squirrels and birds. Many fabulous restaurants both in the town and on the hills for all budgets.The medieval local village has all types of grocery shops with wonderful produce, local bars for morning cappuccino. We can organize a private chef to come and cook at your villa or you can participate in the medieval tower in a Tuscan cooking class taught in English. There is also horse riding locally. Caruso's villa that can be visited , ceramic producers, wine tasting and cellar visits, medici villas and etruscan museum, also tombs that are open to the public. Close to all the major motorways and highways it is the perfect location to do day trips to Pisa/Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, cinque terre, take the wine road through the backroads of Chianti area.
