New rental apartment situated within the 4 star Domus Iberica complex, set in landscaped gardens with sea views. It comprises of Entrance hall, fully fitted kitchen with the usual appliances, including electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Large living room with 2 leather sofas and dining section with seating for 6 people, 32' flat screen TV, DVD/CD player and access to balcony with sea view, outside furniture and built-in BBQ. 2 twin bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath / shower, bidet, wc and under floor heating. 2nd bathroom with bath, shower wc and under floor heating. Hot and cold air conditioning in all rooms. Electric shutter blinds and double glazing throughout. The on-site facilities include large communal pool and separate children's pool, superbly equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi , steam room, bar and restaurant. A good choice of restaurants and bars, pizzeria, small shops and tiny bakery are within walking distance.

Burgau is a small fishing village nestled on the edge of a national park. With its narrow, cobbled streets and a beautiful sandy beach it has a unique charm all of its own. It offers great restaurants and wonderful walks along the beach and cliff tops. People who have been once usually come back time after time to enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that Burgau has to offer. The historic walled town of Lagos is a short drive away, with pedestrian walkways, waterside restaurants and a bustling marina. For golfers the championship courses of Parque da Floresta and Boavista can be easily reached within 10 minutes by car and there are numerous others within a 30 minute drive. The west coast is easily accessible with its fantastic surfing beaches.

    Remaining deposit of 15%, payable by 1st March.
  • Changeover day flexible.
    A non-refundable deposit of 25% will be payable at the time of booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £100 will be required. This will be refunded once keys are returned and the apartment has been cleaned and checked. Linen and apartment towels are included, please bring your own beach towels.
  • Our Property Manager will meet and greet you on your arrival at the apartment.
    This is strictly a non smoking apartment. No pets are allowed.
    We can help with advice on transfers and car hire.

a great week in the algarve

we were met at the apartment by Ana, a very nice lady. After showing us around and instructions how to turn the water on and various things she left us to it but was around the complex most days and always stopped for a chat and to help with any problems should you have any. The apartment was lovely and furnished to a high standard, and was very clean and comfortable. Burgau is a small friendly restful village with some excellent restaurants in the local area. Golf in this part of the Algarve was extremely good with two outstanding courses nearby. Best golf deals were found via the free golf magazine in the apartment were you phone and book through an agent rather than the course direct. Even the golf shops in the area could not match their prices. All in all a very good location to suit all types of holidays.

From the moment of our booking to unpacking back home, the Heather and Chris; the owners of this apartment were available to answer all our questions, to give information and advice. We were helped with transfer, car hire, shopping details, and suggestions of place to visit.

Bergau still has its village atmosphere, and the tasteful development of which the apartment is part has done little to destroy it. We found it was well placed for walks and drives to other beaches etc, a few minutes from the main 125 road.

Anna, the property manager, met us and guided us, through what quickly felt like home. It was all it was advertised to be. Scrupulously clean, comfortably and tastefully furnished, with all the equipment and utensils needed for our fortnight stay. The apartment was situated a few minutes from the centre of the village, a short walk down to the beach, it was quiet and peaceful, with countryside to rear and side, the late evening sound was that of crickets!, English television for those needing it. And comfortable beds at the end of the day.

We ate in most evenings, and found the kitchen was well planed and stocked. What a blessing to have dishwasher! And a washing machine too.

Had we wanted to eat out, the number and quality of the eating spots in Bergau was amazing. The apple pie at Cobanes (Blue Wave) is well worth the walk, or the drive!

We enjoyed the peace, the weather, the village, the apartment, and were sad to leave.

We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

A lovely well equiped and spacious apartment in a a fairly quiet village. The apartment is well managed and clean. There are good local resturaunts, an exellent beach and access to a pool. There are lovely walks nearby.

Beautiful new apartment - just what we were looking for as a bit of luxury rest and relaxation for a week of our 3 month Europe adventure. Even though we only booked a week in advance everything was professionally and smoothly handled. The location was great for a base for exploring southern Portugal. We particularly loved the walks along the coast. It was lovely and quiet for our stay in early June (we are two Australians so were a bit overwhelmed by all the English) - it was fine while we were there but not so sure what if would be like in peak season (July - august). I imagine it would be great if you were looking for all the comforts of home but not so great if you were expecting a truly Portugese experience.

Lift the shutters after a restful nights sleep to a cornflower blue sky.Step out onto the sunny balcony to the sound of cowbells tinkling in the fields behind and the sight of the sea sparkling and inviting infront. Life here is more than just a few paces slower and with that first breath of clear unpolluted air and the sights and sounds of an unspoilt environment you will instantly unwind.Not only is it the outside environment,which is clearly special, but also your indoor one. A lovely, modern and well appointed apartment with hotel style bathrooms and every modern convenience all makes for a relaxing and a very comfortable stay -the phrase 'the living is easy' comes to mind.It was a privilege to be part of this way of life if only for a short time.......however I will be back. Many thanks Chris and Heather.
