The Rockville Rose can provide a quiet getaway for two in any one of our bedrooms or become your private vacation retreat for up to eight guests by renting all four of our rooms. Our options vary depending on the time of year.
Rockville is a small, very quiet town less than five miles from the main south entrance to Zion National Park. You will have easy access to the park and all the restaurants and shops nearby, but still be able to escape to your own peaceful spot with a beauty all its own.
There are four bedrooms which can sleep eight (8) people maximum. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and DirecTV, and there is WiFi throughout the house. Relax in the living room, on the large wrap around porch or anywhere on the huge lawn surrounded by fruit trees. In addition, there is RV hookup on the property (electric and water). While property is handicap/wheelchair accessible, there are some limitations. Upon booking details can be discussed.
We do have helpful property managers who live on site. If you would like to do laundry during your stay, you will need to coordinate a schedule with them for access.

We live and work in Las Vegas, raising two boys. Mike has run fine dining restaurants for over ten years, and Kathryn works part-time at the kids' school. Life is busy, and we and the boys love coming to Zion to slow down and enjoy a touch of country life as often as we can.
Mike and Kathryn Olsen purchased this house in 2006
We consider this our second and future permanent home. We fell in love with Zion years ago and couldn't pass up this place when it became available. We've loved improving it and making it our own, and hope others can enjoy it as much as we do.
Zion National Park is a great base camp for visiting and exploring nearby national parks and monuments such as Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Grand Canyon and more.
We met up with another family for a long weekend trip to Zion. The Rockville Rose was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked and the outside provided lots of room for the little ones to run around safely while the adults sat on the porch watching. The small playset in the back was a pleasant surprise. While traveling with two infants and two small children having access to laundry was also great. The proximity to Zion was ideal. We would definitely recommend Rockville Rose without hesitation to anyone looking for someplace reasonably priced and close to Zion.
This was the first place we stayed for our road trip in Utah. Excellent location, we rented the entire house and it was great! Each room has its own bathroom. During our time here we cooked and the kitchen was nicely equipped. We were traveling with small children, nice front and back yards with for children to play in. Also visited Bryce Canyon while staying in this property travel time only an hour and a half.
We were just in the area for a night before hiking Angel's Landing so I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to go for a BnB, but I took a chance anyway and inquired. Kathryn responded quickly and made us a deal so we really couldn't turn them down. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. I only wish that we could have stayed around for breakfast, but trail was calling and we were out before sunrise. We'll be back, anyway, I am sure.
Our crew, 5 adults and 2 barely teens enjoyed luxurious comfort, roomy relaxing, and handy amenities at Rockville Rose Inn. The huge pecan tree in the expansive front yard provided a tasty addition to our morning pancakes. A longer stay with more cooking would have made the partially working Jenn-air stove an inconvenience, but the gas grill, fire pit, and other outside comforts were fine. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and the convenience to Zion and local attractions.
Our three generation family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Rockville Rose. The home was very clean. Each of the four bedrooms (one king and three queens) had their own baths. They have a very large and extremely well equipped kitchen. We all loved the large dining room/sunroom with windows all around. We were approximately five miles west of Zion NP, where we did lots of hikes. The weather and fall color were beautiful. We hope to return. Thank you to the Owners.
We were very happy with our stay here and didn't want to leave. This house used to be a bed and breakfast and still has some of the signs related to that, such as what time breakfast will be served. Each room has its own bathroom and a reasonable amount of privacy. The community is very quiet and peaceful. Our first night we arrived after dark and had a difficult time finding the house because it was so dark. But it sure was awesome sitting in the back yard and looking up at the stars. The location is just a few minutes from Springdale and the park, which was perfect for us. Note that the information states that the initial stock of supplies will not be replenished. For our six night stay we needed to buy more toilet paper. We did experience some minor issues during our stay with the plumbing and the internet, but the property manager lives on site and was very accommodating. Overall, the home is well maintained. If you plan to use the kitchen, I'd recommend buying your supplies in Hurricane or St. George on your way in. Sol Foods in Springdale is convenient, but quite expensive. When we return to Zion again with a small group, this will be our choice for lodging if it is available.
