A self-catering rental with a close and easy access to a beautiful beach

The villa is secluded and surrounded by pine trees and olive groves making it the ideal location for a relaxing and romantic holiday. The villa is located in the bay of Milia. A two minutes walk inside the property takes you to the beach, one of the most beautiful of Alonissos, an ideal place for snorkelling and swimming in the chrystal clear water .The villa is on two levels and sleeps 4-5 people. Upstairs there are two bathrooms and two bedrooms that open on to a large terrace with an amazing view of the sea and of two little deserted islands 'dyo adelfia'. Downstairs there are a simple but well equipped kitchen, a lovely dining area and a spacious living room with access to two further terraces overlooking the sea. Downstairs there is a further small bathroom contiguous to the living room. In all the terraces there are tables and chairs where you can eat and relax. The house, that is beautifully decorated in pretty colours according with the traditional Greek taste, is also equipped with a washing machine, fans and garden furniture.

The area around the villa is covered by olive groves and pine trees that reach the sea. Several beaches are close to the house. Just below the villa there is the beautiful Milia beach with small pebbles. Then Chrisi Milia, a sandy beach with shallow waters verde azzurro colour, ideal for children and inexperienced swimmers. The bottom of the sea is clean, covered with fine sand and you can go towards the deep up to 150 meters from the shore. Following there is Kokkino Kastro a beach with red rocks and calm blue water. Swimming off you may be able to see the ruins of an ancient city submerged and covered by the sea.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAY IN MILLA BAY

La casa l'abbiamo trovata splendida, come credo di averle scritto via sms il giorno stesso in cui Christian ci ha portati lì...

Vissuta e molto accogliente, pulita, in una posizione fantastica: assolutamente da consigliare (cosa peraltro già fatta!).

Abbiamo letto moltissimo godendo del terrazzo e del fatto che potessimo scendere in spiaggia in pochissimo tempo.

Purtroppo una sdraio di tela ci si è rotta (immagino per l'usura, visto che pesiamo entrambi intorno ai 50/60 kg...) ma la cosa non ci ha impedito di prendere molto sole e di farci cullare dal "suono" dei vari animaletti che popolavano i dintorni.

Le stellate poi... Impagabili. Veramente un posto magnifico!

The house is very nice and treated. The rooms are comfortable and livable. The terrace offers a beautiful panorama of the nice bay of Milia, reachable with a 5 minutes walk. The house is perfect for families with children, secluded and surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. Its location is ideal: 5 minutes by car to the town of Patatiri and on the road for the best beaches on the island.
I recommend it to all those seeking a relaxing holiday in a romantic setting. A car/motorbike/bicycle is necessary.

Great place to truly relax

This place is all that it promises to be. It is completely secluded surrounded by pine and olive trees with amazing sea views. The beach is only a 3 min walk down an easy path and road. And it is one of the best beaches on the island. The owners obviously care greatly about the property and it is tastefully decorated and comfortable. They also made sure that there were basic supplies and that it was easy to get to the place upon arrival. There are mosquito nets on the windows upstairs, which is a blessing at night. There are many different common areas so it's truly a house to be lived. You will definitely need a car, though, to get to the center for food and supplies and there is convenient parking in the back. If you're looking for a place to unwind for a couple of weeks this is for you. Even during the last two weeks of August the beach below was never too crowded nor was the old town.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway
