Our modern, well maintained, all year round vacation home sits overlooking the rugged Atlantic Ocean shoreline. Nestled on a ½ acre of land, you are able to sit on your patio and do absolutely nothing. Relax, breathe clean, fresh air and soak up the beauty and peace of your surroundings.

Boasting 30’ ceilings, this home caters to 16 windows facing the easterly sunrise. In addition, the living area displays a large independent loft, separate common room and dining area all in an open concept surrounding.

With a privately fenced back yard, the heat from an open fire and the smell of the gentle sea breeze off the North Atlantic Ocean, anyone would feel as though they had captured their own piece of paradise.

If looking out your front window doesn’t spot you a whale then perhaps a short 45 minute drive to Bay Bulls will allow you to take in the scenery as you navigate yourself to a whale watching tour. A little more up close and personal may direct you to an ocean kayaking tour.

From this house, 10 minutes one way or 15 the other, whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find a golf course that's just right for you!

An Amazing Rental!

This house was wonderful. We both felt at home here and after our daily excursions touring the Avalon we we're quite pleased to be able to come back to such a comfortable setting.
Each morning waking up to see the incredible view was a special treat and all the extras in the house left us with no worries. Peter and Linsey thank you so much your house is beautiful and we will treasure our memories of our stay forever. Thank you also for finding and sending the jewelry back. We give this house and it's owners 10 stars!

Perfect Location To Explore

Guest Book - Torbay House was the perfect location to explore St. John's - city during the day and a nice, quiet get away in the evening. Very comfortable accomodation - loved having the conveniences of internet, phone and Wii (THE PRICE is RIGHT - very fun). Peter and Linsey - I think you have done a great job stocking this place. We had everything we needed and more. Our little guy loved his stay and we are very appreciative for all the kids stuff.

A special thank you for having such well stocked cupboards! When we arrived I was starving and had soup, crackers and pudding. It was thoughtful of you to have food available.

Also, thanks for all your helpful emails and suggestions re restaurants and takeout food places. I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet you..........the time went too fast.

We will have to come again so that we can stay longer.

Absolutely Beautiful

I have to say it is the most relaxing environment I have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

You can open the windows and listen to the beach, while looking out the living room windows from floor to ceiling to see the spectacular view of the Atlantic. It is breathtaking to wake up to.

The loft area was my favorite part of the house. It is beautifully decorated and again offers the large windows and a view of the ocean.

This property is very well maintained and has just about everything you would need besides your groceries.

The furniture and overall ambiance of this property is very "spa like" and incredibly relaxing.

The location is perfect. It is close to all amendities and far enough but not to far from the City. It offers more privacy than a hotel could as you have your own back deck and fenced in yard (which is also great for smaller children)..

We would definitely stay again..
