Two minutes to beach and swimming pool with sun loungers

Near to all amenities. Bedroom with air con and ceiling fan, Two large Single Beds that are put together for large double bed, can be separated if you require. There is a travel cot should you need. en suite bathroom with shower. Sitting room with TV/DVD two ceiling fans open plan kitchen with all your needs, breakfast bar, coffee maker, cocktail mixer, microwave, Cooker and plenty of cupboard space. Safe for valuables. Four folding louver doors open onto the patio with table and chairs for four people, over looking lawn for sunbathing. Private parking, but a car is not necessary. Small supermarket just opposite that is very handy for anything that you might have forgotten. Only minutes to beach, local shops, mini market and excellent coffee shop. There is a lovely departmental store Cave Shepherd literally just a 5 minutes walk.

The famous Sandy Lane Hotel and its lovely beach is very close and you can also walk to.

Just opposite the apartment is a local coffee shop that offers free Internet if you bring your own laptop, you can pick up the signal from my apartment

Pick up from the Airport: The apartment is about a 45 min's drive from Grantly Adams Airport

I have a lady that looks after the apartment, she collects you from the airport arrivals, meets and greets you.

She takes you back to the apartment to drop your cases off then she takes you to the local super market so that you can get your provisions on the way she shows you where the local Beach bars are and the Beach House with lovely swimming pool. She then takes you back to your apartment. If you want these transfers, there is an additional charge of £70.00

On your departure she will collect you from the apartment and take you back to Grantly Adams Airport,

She is a lovely lady and she will give you lots of help with any info on Barbados

We have a new shopping centre called Limegrove with stunning beautiful shops this also has a new cinema, disco, in the centre of the new shopping centre there is a lovely bar and snack bar called Limegrove a beautiful place at night a great atmosphere and night life.

Perfect accommodation fabulous location

Located within easy walking distance of the center of Hole Town and Sandy Lane with pool, beach, bars and good restaurants within easy walking distance this comfortable property is perfect for a relaxing holiday under the warm Barbadian sun. Well maintained, presented and equipped to provide comfortable air-conditioned accommodation both for self catering or to use as a base camp with private parking from which to explore the whole Island where no destination is more than 30 minutes away. I could not recommend it more highly.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review John Gwen and Michell It does sleep three and it was a great the idea how you set up the lounge to make it comfortable for the third person to benefit from the air con too, by putting the setting to about 20 and by keeping the bedroom door open with a floor fan at the bedroom door was allowing the whole apartment to get cool air Michell it was lovely to meet up with you after your holiday. I had no idea there was an open air Globe drive in cinema Adams Castle in Christ Church as you say a real taste of the 60s. I must check that out when I am over again. A Perfect Holiday on Barbados

Sophia met us on our arrival and she had left the apartment spotlessly clean. The apartment was even nicer than we had imagined from the photos. The furniture was attractive and very comfortable. The location was peaceful and we loved watching the humming birds in the morning, as we ate our breakfast on the terrace. The kitchen was well equipped and there were matching sets of good quality china and cutlery. The large bed was actually two divans pushed together and we slept really well. The air conditioning was effective and surprisingly cheap. The fans in the bedroom, sitting room and terrace were most welcome. As somebody who always travels with far too many clothes I was extremely grateful for the excellent storage and the enormous number of coathangers.

The owner, Stéphanie, was charming and she recommended places to visit and places to eat. The apartment is convenient for beaches and restaurants. We sometimes took the local buses, but we also found that we were able to walk easily to most of our favourite restaurants. Sandy Lanes, for lunch, was a must and it was just a short walk. Our nearest beach was a couple of hundred yards away and we also had a card to admit us, as members, to the pool at the local beach club. Altogether an ideal introduction to Barbados and we are fairly certain that we shall be back. Thank you Stephanie

It was great you went to the famous Sandy Lane as you say it is a must even for afternoon tea or light lunch and to think it is only a walk away. It just shows you that you need not hire a car if you do not wish as there is so much to see close at hand. Fantastic apartment in a great location.

The apartment is a lovely place and is in an extremely good area, being a single woman, travelling by myself, I felt completely safe. The apartment comes with all the amenities you require. I also had no problems getting the internet.

You are a five minute walk from shops, the beach, swimming pool and cafes. The swimming pool has been recently refurbished and is fantastic, it overlooks the beach and sea, and the cocktails from the swimming pool bar come highly recommended.

I went to Mullins beach bar and had a great time there, it is a short bus ride away, with good food and cocktails, and is spectacular to go to watch the sun set.

I enjoyed my time so much I am going back to Stephanie’s apartment very soon.

Lovely apartment and great location!

This is a really lovely apartment in an excellent location. The apartment itself is very roomy and was spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could need.

The location was great, only a 5-10 minute stroll to the gorgeous beach and there are shops and a supermarket very close by. There was also a very handy coffee shop just opposite the property that served the most gorgeous iced coffees and where you could get free wi-fi.

We hired a car whilst we were there and checked out some of the other gorgeous beaches on the west coast like Paynes Bay and Mullins Beach which weren't too far away. We also travelled to Bathsheba on the east of the island and to Animal Flower Cove on the north coast which is simply stunning and a must-see.

Overall I would highly recommend this property and this area of Barbados. The owner Stephanie, was a pleasure to deal with and sent us some great information about the local area/restaurants etc before we arrived. Sophie, who met us at the property was also very welcoming and helpful.

Thanks for an amazing holiday, we will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: I am so pleased it sounds as if you had a great time, Barbados is such a great destination, it sounds as if you made the most of it hiring a car and getting around the Island there is such a contrast to the East side were Barthsheba is and you would have seen the contrast of the Atlantic to the West side looking over the calm Caribbean Ocean this is the beauty of the Island that you can get to one side to the other in the space of about 40 minutes As you say the Coffee shop is so close offering the Internet could not be easier and get that special coffee or hot chocolate to start a beautiful day Seeing your review makes me want to get on that plain. Sugar Hill is a place to visit that is close to the apartment if you should come back that has a wonderful swimming pool and restaurant I hope should you want to return, I could help in any way I can All good things Stephanie

Brilliant location, beautiful accommodation

My husband and I stayed at Stephanie's beautiful apartment for 4 nights in July 2011. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sophie who showed us through the apartment. Both Stephanie and Sophie were always available to email / call throughout our stay if we had any questions.

The apartment is located a 5 minute walk from the stunning west coast beaches, great restaurants (Zaccios for a fabulous lunch whilst at the beach, The Beachhouse for a romantic dinner!) and is a stones throw from the bus stop that takes you up north to Speighstown or south to Oistins and Crane Beach. The coffee shop across the road is great and has wifi! We also had access to the pool, but didn't want to stay out of the ocean :)

The apartment itself is very roomy and clean with a large dresser and closet in the bedroom. The living area is also spacious with a dining table for 4, couch area and great functional kitchen. Just make sure you have lots of 1BB coins for the air conditioner on hand :)

Our fantastic holiday in Barbados

My boyfriend and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for 2 weeks in September. The location was perfect; the apartment was fantastic and had everything you could need. The apartment was spotless and perfectly maintained.

The local supermarket is just a 5 minute walk away to stock up on everything you could need to self-cater.

The apartment was close to the fabulous beach, bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend Surf Side bar on the beach, many a happy hour (or several) were spent there watching the sun set.

Zacchios served some of the nicest food we ate while in Barbados and seating is available above the beach with fantastic views. Beware of the Bajan Hot sauce though!!

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the island on the local buses. Also an excursion to go swimming with the turtles was amazing and worth every penny!

I can’t wait to go back to Barbados one day and would definitely recommend this apartment!

Taxi's from the airport at the moment charge about 58 BB Dollars to the apartment, in sterling this is about £18.00 - £20.00.

The west coast is the most beautiful in Barbados and 15 minutes to the famous Sandy Lane beach. We have a wonderful choice of restaurants and bars one of which is attached to our private members pool with complimentary loungers, the Beach house offering snacks and drinks at lunch time and at night great dining in a lovely atmosphere. Further along we have the famous Tides restaurant, then Zacchios and surf side very reasonable prices also offer happy hour (with satellite TV showing live sports) two great beach bars and a terrific beach where you can hire loungers, jet skis and water skiing.

Holetown is a great place to visit they also have lovely restaurants Italian, Thai and Indian.

If you want to do your own catering there is the local supermarket this has every thing you should possibly want. For the girls lovely boutiques in Chattel Village just minutes away. The apartment is near to Sunset Mall a large duty free store, the coffee shop opposite has free Internet

We now have an amazing shopping mall called Limegrove Very Very high class shopping great bar in the center of the mall great night life with a lovely new cinema this you can easily walk to from the apartment about 15 - 20 minuets walk
