It is an elegant two-storey property offering generous accommodation for up to 8 people in 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms (all air-conditioned), with a magnificent pool and verandah area with granite bar, tropical gardens, and all the facilities one would expect - including satellite, surround-sound TV, iPod-compatible hi-fi inside and outside, wireless broadband, a superbly equipped, large kitchen, and much more. Please note that smoking is NOT permitted inside the house.

The Coral House is situated just 300 metres from Gibbs Beach, on the West Coast of Barbados, in the famous Platinum Coast area where most of the island's best restaurants, bars and beaches are located. It is a 10 minute drive from Holetown, where a shopping mall and 'Chattel village' are located, and where the local supermarket is stocked with Waitrose items and a variety of other produce which is locally-produced. Two minutes down the road from the house is the local fish market, where the freshest yellow-fin tuna, mahi-mahi, barracuda, red snapper, kingfish and marlin are obtainable. Golf, tennis, snorkelling, diving, water-skiing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming with the turtles, sailing are all within easy reach.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 25% discount is available for all dates until 3rd November 2009.
    Rates quoted assume occupancy for 6 people in 3 double or twin rooms. There are different rates for 4 rooms/8 occupants (9 for a child in a cot), and in the summer there are also cheaper rates for 2 rooms/4 occupants. Please enquire.
    PLEASE NOTE that special rates apply over Christmas and New Year from 21st December - 5th January inclusive: for 6 people these are US$8,050.00 per week, or US$1,150.00 per night (US$191.67 per person per night); and for 8 people US$9940 per week or US$1420 per night.
  • A security deposit by credit card of US$1750 is required at time of booking. This amount is reserved on the credit card at that stage, but not debited.
  • Please let us know if you require additional staff such as chef, butler, nanny, etc. These can easily be arranged at relatively modest cost.

Notes: This property provides a superb alternative to hotel accommodation, with prices starting at approximately US$90 per per per day (excluding flights, but including VAT). It offers a large amount of space and a good level of service with excellent facilities. You will have a restful holiday: the maid/housekeeper will look after you 6 days a week; this includes making the beds, changing towels and bed-linen, clothes washing and ironing, and, if you wish, laying the table, clearing the table, and washing up. A cook, chef, and/or butler can be hired at additional cost if required. However, the local restaurants are excellent, and the barbecue area is ideal for cooking and enjoying the local fish or excellent meat available from a range of suppliers. This will be a truly relaxing holiday which ticks all the boxes.
