The apartment is located three stations from the Tour Montparnasse where artists have there rituel coffee places and galeries. It is about 20 minutes walk from our place. Just in front of our building there is a subway station. Three buses take us directly to the Rive Gauche, to the Louvre or to les Jardins du Luxembourg.
The apartment responds to all expectations. It is bright, spacious and rational. We enjoy it for resting, having friends over and also for its quietness since we like to enjoy reading and working at home.

Washing machines. 3rd floor with elevator. Janitor. Friendly surroundings.
My husband and myself are both retired university professors from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We love France where we have both studied and keep this appartement for spending six months or more in Paris each year. Lots of books and places to work are provided and we also spend a lot of time here with friends, that is why we have a large living room and dining room. We were specialized in Politicis and Law. We find France and french daily life completely different from Quebec and we enjoy following culturel and political activities. The place is organized for us to enjoy intellectual work independently. In Montreal, we are used to have 1,600sm apartment but we don't mind if Paris'one is only 64sm even for a long period since we also spend time in coffee places since there are two, one on the first floor of the neighbor building and one across the street. We can also eat there and enjoy local good french food. We need no car in Paris and life is much more simple with the subway just in front and the different close buses available. We also have friendly relations with our neighbors and the janitor of our building is a reliable person. So we like coming back to Paris and find this friendly surrounding. We are pleased with the idea of sharing our private atmosphere and comfort with those who love Paris or are curious to discover it.

We have been studying in Paris for our PhD degrees. I have been working in Paris in a cooperation agreement between Quebec and France. When that term was over. we were sad to leave and decided to have our own place. In Quebec we dont have a vacation place, we have a garden downtown. But we are happy to have a vacation place in France.
We first enjoy the location. Our area is not in the rushing places that some touristical streets represent. aT THE SAME, WHILE WE DONT SUFFER FROM THE NOISE AND STRESS OF THOSE PLACES, WE HAVE A DIRECT link with the buses and the subway. We also enjoy the fact that we are at the same time in a typical old time and modern area. We find all sorts of open shops with fresh fish, fresh vegetables etc. Also there are super department stores. Everything is close. There is a charming garden very close. An hospital for required consultations and so on. We would not change place. At the same time, the apartment is warm and friendly and has all expected services. It is also quiet. The bedroom is at the back and oriented south facing white buildings and an inside garden. There is plenty of light all around.
We are a couple in our 70's who recently spent a month in this charming apartment. It is light and airy. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable. The building is safe and well lit, with a nice modern elevator.
The location is excellent, and typical Parisian non-touristy just as specified in the description. We enjoyed the neighborhood shops, open markets, restaurants and cafes, all an easy walk, along with two pleasant parks.
Metro and buses were convenient and easy to learn. We also appreciated the wi-fi and the nice size TV in the living room.
Madame Legare was helpful and easy to work with, both before and during our stay. We are happy to recommend this apartment.
