El Trigal is a truly idyllic country cottage which has the most spectacular views . Set amongst the corn fields below the stunning rock formations of El Torcal Natural Park, this former shepherd’s cottage has been transformed into a comfortable , spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom country home. In keeping with local style the ceilings are beamed, the open fireplace in the living room and terracotta tiles adding to the authentic feel of the property What sets El Trigal apart from the rest is its views and outside space. A lovely terrace, which is partially covered , furnished with dining table, and chairs Sunbeds and a 8 x 4 metre pool, lawn and an abundance of fruit trees all add to the charm of the property. If you are seeking total peace and tranquility this is the place for you! If you would like a maid to come and clean for you during your stay, this can be arranged, the cost is 8 € per hour. We also can arrange for you to have a cook on any night of your stay.

El Chorro Lakes - inland lakes , with pine forests, beaches ect , great day out for swimming, fishing . Antequera - 16klm, historic town dating back to Moorish times, Moorish castle, Renaissance churches, museums, excellent restaurants, tapas bars , golf course . Granda and Cordoba - approx 1 hr drive away Beaches of the Costa del Sol - a day on the beach is just a 40 minute drive away

Local Amenities : Nearest village is Villanueva de la Concepcion - 2 klm. This is a typical white Andalucian village . There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, medical centre, banks, pharmacy . The annual village feria is helf the 2nd weekend of August, this is a really fun event lasting for 5 days , The entire village becomes a street party, in the main square a stage is set up for flamenco, music etc.
