Located in the heart of the Garden Route, Knysna is the perfect halfway point between Cape Town and the world renowned Addo Elephant Park near Port Elizabeth. Knysna offers the tourist a host of activities, such as relaxing sun-set cruises, nature walks, golfing, fine restaurants, unequaled lagoon and sea views. Beaches of Noetzie and its famous Castles, Brenton-on-Sea, Plettenberg Bay, Natures Valley, Buffels Bay and Sedgefield are only a short scenic drive away. World famous golf courses such as Pezula, on top of the Heads, and Simola are less than a 5 minute drive away, while Fancourt Golf Estate, home of the 2004 Presidents Cup, is an hour away in George. The Knysna lagoon, its famous Heads and surrounding forests and nature walks have an abundance of bird-life.
