Recreational activities: The environment in Haren and Emsland offers a lot of different recreational activities. The most famous of which is the vacation centre of Schloss Dankern – only about 800m from the house. Here you will find countless activities for children and youths, including indoor and outdoor playgrounds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, climbing obstacles, large slides, skateboarding, a large beach, water skiing, windsurfing and go-carting. Of course, there is also the golf course that surrounds the vacation community and also 4 other courses that can be reached within a one hour drive. For those who are looking for quiet and relaxation, the “Dünetherm” also offers a comfortable atmosphere for wellness, sauna and a select menu. Last, but not least, there are many other options like horseback riding, cycling, hiking, canoeing and sight-seeing tours.
Golf: A 18-hole golf course can be reached near the holiday house. In addition, there is also a 4 hole training course and a driving range. In the surroundings you will find more golf courses in Papenburg, Lingen, and Bad Bentheim which can be reached very easily within 1 hour drive.
