Broughton St Loft was an excellent apartment in a very convenient location. the unit was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. A couple of items would have made the stay more comfortable--hangers in the closets (there were only four for two of us for four days), and a tv in the bedroom. Other than that, I would highly recommend the unit. We were able to walk everywhere from the unit. The building "lobby" is a little dirty, but didn't detract from our stay. Renters should be aware that there are no windows in the bedroom.

I bought this condo in March of 2012 because it was in a perfect location. I do live in Savannah but I don't live downtown so I love staying here when it is not rented.

The best thing about our place is its location and the fact that everything in it is brand new as of April of 2012.

1ST TRIP TO SAVANNAH

This place is gorgeous. Clean with lots of room to settle into. This condo is located in the perfect location. We only moved our car to go to the grocery and to Tybee, everything else is in walking distance. The only down fall of this condo is not having a TV in the bedroom. It rained the first two days we were there so we watched a lot of tv. Other than that everything was wonderful and I am sure we will be back. Savannah is breathtaking and getting the chance to stay in a condo vs a hotel room was well worth the cost. Thank you for a great 1st anniversary.

AWESOME TRIP

This was our first time to Savannah and it did not disappoint! The condo is exactly what we were hoping for. It was very well maintained and clean, best of all - prime location! Literally just a few blocks from almost everything. Our three year old had plenty of room to run around and it was the perfect size for the three of us. It is about a 5 minuite walk to the parking garage which was nice not having to worry about leaving your car in the street at the mercy of the meters. We will be going back as we didn't have enough time to see everything that we wanted to. Forsyth park was beautiful, couple of playgrounds and fountains for the kids. We also enjoyed Ellis Square, which has more fountains, a grassy area for picnicing, tons of shops, restaurants and nightlife. It was about a 5 minute walk to Riverstreet and maybe a 15 minute walk to The Pirate House which is a can't miss. Very historic building with awesome food. Thank you for an awesome time!

WONDERFUL LOFT AND LOCATION!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this loft!! It is VERY clean and comfortable and the location is great! We were able to walk everywhere in the historic district. Being able to park in the parking garage a short walk away was a plus! We only moved the car once to go to Tybee Island. The owner was great to work with and we would definitely stay here again.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN SAVANNAH

We enjoyed our stay here in this loft. Everything was in walking distance within the historic district.. It was nice being able to cook our own breakfasts and some dinners while there in the lovely kitchen. The loft was very spacious and very well furnished and maintained. It felt like a home away from home and my young son and baby had plenty of room to play on the floor and watch tv. The only downside to the loft is the noise from other units and on the weekend, the nightlife can be heard from outside. But, I guess this is to be expected when staying right downtown where all the shops and restaurants are. It would not deter me from staying there again though. The parking space is a huge plus as the parking in the historic district is very limited without paying a meter or garage. The loft was a great value for the price.

GREAT LOCATION! BEAUTIFUL LOFT.

We could not imagine a better location for our trip to Savannah. It is right downtown so we parked the car in the garage, which felt very safe, and walked everywhere during our stay. The loft is as beautiful and spacious as the photos which just added to our need for a change of scenery! Since we live in the suburbs, the downtown clatter was new to us, but we quickly got used to it as part of the vacation. The building entry code, loft key, and parking garage all easily provided by Robert via email which made the first day relaxing after a long drive. Thank you to the reviewer who recommended Jazz'd--we loved it! Delicious food, great music. Other places we loved: SoHo South Cafe on Liberty for lunch, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Jepson Center for the Arts, the easy-going atmosphere of City Market, the beautiful squares, and the shopping, of course! We would recommend this loft to anyone visiting Historic Savannah.

PERFECT LOCATION

I stayed the weekend of March 8th in this beautiful condo with my boyfriend. It was our first visit to Savannah and it did not disappoint. The condo was everything we were looking for and more. Robert does a great job in describing his place on the listing, but it is even better in person. The condo is very well taken care of and has so much space, with its high loft like ceilings and modern touches. We were not only within walking distance of all of the attractions, but just steps away from the famous broughton st. shops and cafes. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo because there was so much to do, but it was the perfect place to come back to and rest up for the next day. Robert keeps the kitchen fully stocked, so we had everything we needed if we wanted to cook a quick breakfast in the morning or even a wine cooler to enjoy a glass when we returned. We still have a lot more exploring to do in Savannah and will be back to visit again soon!
