Overview

Managua Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Propiedad renta Nicaragua, alquiler vacacional Managua Nicaragua

Villa Intermezzo is a modern apartment nestled in the cool mountains of Intermezzo del Bosque’s forrestal reserve. At an elevation of nearly 2000ft., the villa offers an ideal climate all year round and enjoys a Panoramic View of Managua City and its lake Xolotlan. The villa is fully furnished with two queen beds and a set of bunk beds. It also has a convertible bed if needed. Most of the nightlife in the city is at about ten minutes away and all other tourist attractions like the Masaya Volcano and the Ancient City of Granada are at about a 40 minute ride.

Inside the reserve, you will appreciate all kinds of vegetation distinctive from a Tropical Rainforest. Exotic birds are seen through the forest as well as rabbits, raccoons and the local stinky fox. This farm was known for its enriched land ideal to grow coffee, avocado and plantains. Today it is a high-end residential development with restrictive covenants in order to protect the environment and Managua’s breathing lungs. A morning trail walk is not only exercise, it’s a mystical experience.

If you just want to stay in and enjoy the nice cool breeze of the Mountains, then guess what? ROOM SERVICE !!! Intermezzo del Bosque Restaurant is right there at your service for a late lunch or dinner. The Restaurant is known throughout the city not only for its delicious food, but for the best place to fall in love. As the Romantic Getaway in Managua, couples choose the restaurant to get engaged and then celebrate their weddings.

Utilities included are water, electricity, gas, Cable TV, Security Guard.

Maid Service is optional.

Car service can be arranged as well as pick up and drop off, to and from the airport.

Come over and see for yourself the beauty of Intermezzo del Bosque. You might end up living here.

Exceptions: Utilities are not included for long term rentals.

About Javier Cabanellas

For almost 14 years I have been living in Managua Nicaragua because I have found Paradise. Most people are afraid of coming over to this beautiful country. Sorry for them, they are missing it all.

My wife and I have been running the Restaurant Intermezzo del Bosque and throughout the years most of our visitors want to stay over at this beautiful setting. Chilly at night and just refreshing in the morning. Nature at its best, no noise, no pollution, just you having another different experience.

I recommend this property to nature lovers and people who enjoy eating exquisite food because when you come to Nicaragua, you come to EAT.

I also book groups of golfers who want to play a great golf course and party at night. Playing lessons are provided by well trained local golf Pros for a fraction of what they charge in the States.

Happy to have you over!!!

Javier Cabanellas purchased this apartment in 2012

Why Javier Cabanellas chose Managua

It is unique. Only local residents at the Development have the benefit of living here. There are only 14 homes in Intermezzo so not many people experience the environment that characterizes our Property.

What makes this apartment unique

The view is simply espectacular and the land is so rich that anything grows!!! jajjaa not everything!

The Perfect Getaway

Javier, I am very thankful and still amazed by my experience at Intermezzo Del Bosque. It still brings a smile to my face and to think about the excellent quality time I had there. I can not picture many places like the one you have created. From the moment we got there, there is definitely a sense of peace, tranquility, comfort and friendly environment and staff. Intermezzo Del Bosque is the ideal choice for a high end vocational experience or if you just want to get away from the ordinary. Its exclusive service, amenities, location and climate makes it perfect for a one of a kind experience. The climate is nice and cool, not the usual in Managua. None the less, it takes you away from the noise and heat of the city. At the same time, it gives you the fresh feeling of nature with all the comfort that we can ask for. Now we know there is no need to travel away from the city to get to an ideal vacation experience, your place has it all. The staff is very helpful and was available at all moments. From the time of arrival the guys in charge of parking area were very helpful also the employees in the restaurant, security personnel and reception area. Definitely, I was impressed and satisfied by the well trained and responsible group of people you have put together to service your clients. In the company I work for, I have many coworkers that also travel to Managua and I am referring your place as an excellent choice in case they want to have a great time like I did. I want to make sure that many people as possible can enjoy and take advantage of the exclusive and excellent quality of service your property provides. I want to thank you for your time and friendly approach. I look forward to visiting your place again.

Cityscape on exotic tropical heights

My husband and I visited Nicaragua for celebrating our honeymoon and wedding celebration with family in Managua. We chose the Intermezzo for the space, view and "different experience". We stayed there for 8 nights total. If you are looking for a short term, weekend getaway, tranquility and wish to completely remove yourself from the hustling city life, then this villa would be fitting to your needs. The refreshing jungle mountain air is pleasant. It is true that the climate up there was cooler than in the city! The people at the restaurant were friendly and professional. Javier, the owner, friendly, personable, and pleasant, offered to pick us up and drop us off and even bought us grocery upon arrival, at a reasonable rate. I can tell he enjoys hosting people over ; ) We appreciate so much for all the research he did prior to our trip- he provided helpful info from extensive research on places to stay and travel to for our honeymoon OUTSIDE of Managua. Thank you, Javier. The villa is spacious, cozy and welcoming, for a home in Managua but people do need to be realistic with expectations on infrastructures in a Third World (water, construction, interior finishing). A 5 star stay in N. America is more like a 3 star in Nicaragua, in my humble opinion. So if you're not looking for a resort high end building and facility, but rather, an awesome view and natural env't, then you'd enjoy your stay here! However, if you are on a business trip, will need reliable and fast internet access, convenience and access to essentials at walking distance (a range of restaurant, shops, grocery), then I would not recommend this place as your first pick to stay. Do expect tropic insects, especially on rainy nights! We did run into the trouble of having no hot water the last 2 - 3 days and was told by the owner that this happened several times with several people too. The Restaurant is opened quite late in the day, and not Mondays so we only ate there a few times- good food, fresh and good service. We had a traditional Nicaraguan buffet feast for our wedding dinner with family! Fun music. You do need a car if you wish to "get out". I personally really like watching the colorful exotic animals - birds, butterflies etc! Just watch out for snakes in the 'jungle' and palm sized flying moths and ping pong ball sized flying beetles! Indeed it was an interesting experience for us... : ) The Vargas, Denise y Francisco Richmond, British Columbia, Canada

Owner's Response: Denise & Francisco, Thank you guys for that honest review. We will be expecting you next season for your anniversary. I apologize for the inconvenience with the water heater, it would have been resolved in a second if you guys would've told me when it happened. The problem was resolved by changing the batteries it uses to start the pilot for the GAS water heater. Works like a charm. Sincerely, Javier Cabanellas
