DU-DROP-N: PET FRIENDLY, 1 BLOCK TO THE BEACH!

My husband and our two darling babies (dogs) have resided in this lovely beach home since December 15, 2012 as we are snowbirds.

What a find!!! This home is everthing the rental listing describes + more!!! The floorplan is spacious and extremely well planned. It has wonderful storage, especially the bedroom walk-in closets with floor to ceiling shelving along with garment rods. How nice it to have furniture that provides great sleep, as the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of dresser drawers along with double sinks in the master bedroom.

The owners have gone beyond the norm when it comes to making you feel that you are at the beach.
The furnishings reflect soft, pastel hues, warm sand and blue skies. Trust me, when I say that it is a beach paradise!!!! When I saw nightlights that were flipflops, I laughed and knew that our snowbird months at this lovely, beautiful beach cottage were going to be wonderful. We have now been here for two and one-half months, and love it.

I love to cook. This kitchen is efficient and has everything you would need to prepare meals.
We had house guests, and the upstairs loft provided plenty of space for them.

I cannot say enough about the decks. How wonderful to have your morning coffee on the private and quite deck, while watching our dogs play freely in the fenced lawn. It is so nice to open the door and let "Baxter" and "Benson" do their morning and evening "business" without having to walk them several blocks.

Location! Location! Location! Just step off the driveway and walk straight ahead for five minutes and you have your toes in the sand! Just steps to wonderful Duffy's Seafood, great pizza, outstanding breakfast and many more restaurants.

Each year our family ventures to Myrtle Beach for the Thanksgiving Holidays. This had to be one of our most enjoyable trips, as we really enjoyed our stay at the Du Drop N. The house was so comfortable and such a beautifully decorated place. Everything you think you might need was provided. Not only was the house a pleasant place to stay, but it was centrally located to the beach as well as entertainment and restuarants. Will definitely plan to stay here again!!

Excellent place to stay for SOS. One thing you may want to consider is a more efficient air conditioning unit in the loft. It stayed fairly warm (85 - 90 degrees) most of the day up there, so the current unit was trying to keep up with the demand. We enjoyed our stay by not having to drive to the beach so we got our exercise by walking and visiting the events for that week. Thanks loads.
