Casa Rosa is totally secluded, set in its own grounds with private orchard. The villa consists of master queensize bedroom with ensuite bathroom and door directly out to pool terrace. Two twin rooms and seperate shower room. A large fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, looking out onto the pool and gardens, separates the bedroom area from the living area. The large lounge / dining area has a pull out double sofa bed, stone fireplace, English satellite TV with DVD, portable CD player. French doors leading out to the sun lounge. Pretty garden area and pool terrace with 8 x 4mtr kidney shape pool. Sunloungers, built in barbeque and outdoor furniture. Table tennis. Stunning views of the JalonValley from the pool and gardens. Steps leading to roof terrace with table and chairs for that evening drink overlooking the Jalon Valley. Fully walled and gated. No neighbouring villas makes Casa Rosa the perfect place to relax. Fabulous restaurant within 5 mins walk and Llber only 15 min walk.

Casa Rosa Family Holiday

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful villa. It very much matched its description (and then some!). The agent was really welcoming and approachable - the welcome pack extremely well thought through and generous. The information brochure was the best we had ever encountered - very clear and informative. These are simple but really good touches that make your stay feel special.
The villa was very clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels changed after a week (beds remade for us). On extremely hot evenings we put on the very efficient air conditioning. Our children were aged 11 to 6 years and the pool really met their needs (shallow end perhaps too deep for non-swimmers?). The table tennis table was a great distraction and the use of the owners' bikes was terrific. We were accompanied by Grampa (80) who is extemely fit and he, like us, loved both the villa and its location. We really appreciated its privacy. It is not overlooked by anyone. The screams of the children could not disturb any neighbours.
We mostly like to eat in and the bbq more than adequately served our needs. It is big enough to cook a large feast of delicious local produce. We went to the restaurant Val de Pop (2 mins walk) once but to be honest preferred tapas down the hill in the village of Lliber. Eating of an evening on the roof terrace and taking in the spectacular views are abiding memories topped off by watching the shooting stars.
Access to site-seeing and beaches is really not far and it is worth the little extra drive to get away from the madding croud. More locally the Rastro (described as flea maret) in Jalon was excellent value and less broiling than some of the others in the area.
Returning to the villa by car, the family looked forward to the hairy manouevre onto the steep driveway in the underpowered hire car. Perfected by week 2!
All 3 generations of our family would most definitely recommend this villa.

This beautiful villa lived up to all our expectations,and more!It was exactly as described on the website but the reality was so much better.Words cannot describe the amazing scenery that surrounds this villa - the location is out of this world.Totally secluded & private,yet just a 10 minute walk into Lliber for fresh bread in the morning from the friendly lady in the panaderia.2 minutes walk from the wonderful Val De Pop restaurant for excellent food & the friendliest service.Easy drive into Jalon for shopping.All the ingredients for the perfect relaxation holiday.The villa itself is spacious,well furnished and set in lovely gardens & terraces complete with pool,table tennis & barbecue.The welcome hamper on arrival was exactly that - very welcome!We would totally recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect 'get away from it all' holiday.

Had a lovely stay at Casa Rosa and fell in love with the Jalon Valley, so peaceful and beautiful.Many an evening spent cooking on the BBQ followed by a glass of wine on the roof terrace (great view but watch out for the mossies)
The village of Lliba is sleepy but very nice to stop in the bar and have tapas and a beer.Jalon has a great market on the Saturday and a very good butchers called Galan.
The villa had everything we needed and was spacious and cool inside.There is a lot to do in the valley but a highlight would be a trip up to Bernia and a walk in the mountains there.

Big chill

What better than a hot climate with a chill factor? From arrival to departure we switch off completely and totally relax when staying at Casa Rosa. We don’t drive when in Spain so the agent arranges transport for us from and to Alicante airport.

For us the villa’s appeal lies in its unique location, nestled on a hillside overlooking the stunning Jalon Valley. The scenery is fascinating as the dramatic mountains contrast with the peaceful plain below. We love it’s secluded, private, tranquil position. What could beat swimming in the attractive pool framed by lavender bushes and almond trees with views across the valley?

Here you can be as active or as idle as you choose. We like the rural location and are more than happy to combine days at Casa Rosa (swimming in the pool, reading, sunbathing and eating on the poolside terrace) with days out exploring the local villages on foot or by bicycle. The more adventurous can enjoy walks in the mountains or days at the coast.

Our highlight to round off the day is a candlelit evening on the roof terrace with drinks and tapas (great simple recipes in the villa’s kitchen books) as the sun sinks below the mountains and the evening descends over the valley.

We have been to this villa four times – in spring and autumn and can’t wait to return in October this year.

Spring Paradise

A really secluded property, with very large roof terrace and spacious and beautiful garden and pool. The outdoor living space truly enhances this villa. The garden has a very pretty kidney shaped pool which is lined with lavendar bushes, and includes four or five almond trees which scent the air and add to the atmosphere. The views from the garden and the roof terrace are just beautiful - over the Jalon valley, which is full of almond trees and vines. And it is so private.
The villa itself is all on one level, and has a big niah, which can be used open or closed, a large sitting and dining room, which is comfortable and attractive, a big kitchen with beautiful granite worksurfaces, and all mod cons. The three bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and the villa benefits from two bathrooms; one with a bath, and one with a shower.
You can walk from the villa to an excellent restaurant (3 mins walk), and into Lliber (15 mins walk) to a typical local and lively tapas bar. Try the Lomo!
The villa is ideally suited for the family orientated resorts and beaches of Calpe (about 20 mins drive) and Javea (about 25 mins drive), is 10 mins drive to Benissa with tapas bars, supermarkets and a park, and less than an hour away from Alicante with its beach, esplanade, castle and fantastic shopping.
What makes the villa particularly special is that it is peaceful, beautiful and secluded, but also really close to walking, cycling, beaches and culture. We've been for four years in a row, and will be returning next year.
We have never needed any help, but there is also help to hand if the situation were to ever arrive, which adds an extra feeling of security to the stay.
