This is a five-star luxury apartment on the top floor of a newly built 5 floor building, luxuriantly and tastefully finished to a very high standard. It has 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms ,and is ideally located in the village. It is perfect for families wanting to ski or enjoy the beautiful views and fresh air in the summer , and sleeps up to 7. It has a very large open plan cosy sitting room and kitchen with beautiful 180 degree views over the village and the valley. Tastefully decorated & furnished throughout with underfloor heating,jacuzzi, TV,Stereo,Sky, internet and an open log fire. It has direct access by lift to a large indoor swimming pool and sauna for private residents use only, as well as underground parking and a concierge. It was developed and built by a Swiss ski apartment developer who lives in the penthouse in the building, and offers families access to a beautiful traditional Swiss Alpine ski village which has an abundance of excellent restaurants with access to all of the Four Vallees Swiss ski area.

Popular in both winter & summer,you can sit on the spacious balcony barbequing your summer steaks or Christmas turkey in the sun , and soak up the atmosphere as para-gliders fly by !

The Domanies des Reines is a group of 4 traditional style Swiss chalet-apartments newly built by a developer in the delightfull village of Haute-Nendaz . My apartment sleeps 6 in comfort & style,with 2 en-suite bathrooms and a shower room,plus a 7th person on a fold-away bed. It has a very large sitting room with commanding views over the valley, a fireplace and a large kitchen with all the mod-cons.The developer lives in the penthouse above my apartment and speaks French & English . Our building is called 'Margot' and has 10 apartments and 1 penthouse with 2 levels of underground parking. Each apartment has access to it's own ski locker, and storage room,as well as a communal laundry room and an 'on-call' concierge.Margot and the neighbouring building share a communal indoor swimming pool & sauna which can be accessed by lift direct from my apartment.

Activities: The village of Haute-Nendaz is set in the Valais region at 1400m .It provides access to primarily the Verbier ski area via the lifts at Siviez, and the rest of the 'Four Valleys',including Thyon, Tracouet and Veysonnaz. This provides an enormous expanse of skiing,with all the year round snow because of the Mont Fort glacier at 3300m . There is also ice skating in the village, and a sports centre with an outside thermal bath & spa located a short drive away near Sion.Like most Swiss villages it is very busy in the summer, blessed by long sunny days and evenings . If you are a walker then there are numerous trails from the village including the world famous “bisses”. There are 8 of these, 6 of which have water in and were built hundreds of years ago for irrigation. Walk along their tranquil banks through the woods and over suspended bridges.If you like mountain biking, you can hire bikes in the village and there are numerous biking trails.

The Village: The village is only 5 minutes walk away with many supermarkets, boulangeries, and grocers to cater for those who wish to cook. It is generally populated by Swiss residents and Swiss second home owners, plus a fair number of British owners and visitors. The village is blessed with a very large number of really excellent restaurants ranging from budget pizza up to top class traditional Valais food ! The night life is good,but this is more of a family resort village than a late night clubbing location. In the summer it is beautiful, and you can while away the sunny days by the pool or in one of the beer gardens,watching the para-gliders land on the green below the apartment !

You can easily walk from my apartment in block C of Domaines des Reines to the ski station in the village of Hautes-Nendaz, which takes you up to the Tracouet ski area. The main lift station is located on the upper road in the village and the Domaines des Reines blocks are located just below the upper road. 200m from Block C, is the new Mer de Glace hotel and spa, the bottom of which sits on the same level as my apartment block, but the top level of the hotel has an entrance out onto the upper road near the ski station. All you therefore need to do is to walk 200m down a slope from my apartment to the Mer de Glace complex and there is a public elevator available which will take you straight up to the upper road, and you can then walk 50m to the lift station. This whole process should take about five minutes and if you also want to ski from Siviez instead of Tracouet, you can get a ski bus from the main Nendaz station to Siviez.

I am English ,single , and work in financial services in Dubai. I am a keen skier but I never get enough time to use my apartment each season and so even though it is decorated like my own home, I like to let it out to selective guests. Here is a photo of me cooking in the kitchen but there are so many great restaurants in the village you will usually find me out and about !

I have skied and worked in Switzerland for much of my adult life, and always wanted to own an apartment in Nendaz which gives you access to all of the 4 Vallees. It is a friendly Swiss style village not too full of tourists and many people come back year after year. You can get easy access to all four of the ski areas in the 4 Vallees from Nendaz.

Some people prefer south facing resorts but the benefit of being a north facing resort is firstly that you can look out from the windows of my apartment at stunning sunshine bathed snowy Mountains across the other side of the valley, and secondly the snow line is lower and the skiing better as the snow melts less. However for those who love the sun, once you get up into the mountains the sun is everywhere !

The apartment is set back 100 m from the road so there is no disturbance from people enjoying themselves in the evening, yet you are only a few minutes walk from all of the great bars and restaurants that are one of the key attractions in the village. If you don't want to go out in the evenings, it is only a few minutes walk to the local supermarket or you can collect a fabulous pizza from one of the many Italian restaurants, and dine in , watching a movie or cable TV with a roaring log fire in the background. If your children are bored, they can simply step out of the apartment, get the lift down three floors to step out into the wonderful underground swimming pool and sauna complex !

L'appartement est comme sur la description c'est à dire très propre,avec tous les équipements,une déco sympa,une grande terrasse,une vue imprenable et un accés direct à la superbe piscine(et sauna) par l'ascenseur qui est très appréciable après une journée de ski.La situation est idéale pour atteindre les pistes,le téléphérique se trouve à 200 métres avec un accés par un ascenseur.Tous les magasins(boulangerie,Migros ,Coop) sont très proches aussi à pieds ainsi que le centre de la station.En bas de la résidence il y a une piste de luge et un jardin d'enfants.La résidence est très propre et silencieuse.Bill est très sympa même si nous avons communiqué par mail,il nous a très bien renseigné et nous n'avons eu aucune surprise si ce n'est que des bonnes.Nous êtions déjà venus à Nendaz mais si nous revenons,sans hésitation ce sera chez Bill.Nous êtions six mais il est possible de dormir à sept avec un lit d'appoint(clic clac) qui est disponible dans la cave.

Totale réussite pour ces vacances familiale à la neige: station très agréable, très bon emplacement du chalet, belle exposition, intérieur très bien équipe, propre avec jolie décoration. Le plus: la confiance du propriétaire des lieux mais aussi la piscine et le sauna pour l'après ski.

Ein gemütlicher, luxiriöser Aufenthalt.

Das war das erste mal für uns in Nendaz, es ist ein kleines süsses Dörfchen.
Die Wohnung hatte aureichen Platz für unsere kleine Gruppe,und besonders für uns Mädels, genug Badezimmer.Die Innnenausstahtung war sehr gut,uns hats an nichts gefählt. Es war sehr angenehm, nach dem anstrengendem skilaufen die Muskel in der Sauna zu entspannen und danach gemütlich vor dem Feuer auf dem grossen Sofa zusammen zu sitzen um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen.. Mir gefiehl es besonders gut dass der Skilift, Supermarkt, Bars und Restarants alle zu Fuss zu erreichen waren, den dann kann man unbeschwerd auch mal ein Gläschen trinken. Wenn man aber von anderen Skiliften ski laufen will, benötigt man ein Auto oder nimmt den Bus.
Im Ganzen hatten wir einen tollen,lustigen Urlaub und plannen nächstes Jahr, wenn es klappt ,wiederzukommen.

Enjoyed our time in Nendaz

We really enjoyed our stay in the Nendaz Chalet. The owner prepped us well for our arrival with write-ups of the area including restaurants, activities and ski logistics (Nendaz connects to many other mountains and it helped us understand how to maximize our time on the slopes.) The unit is directly in front of the sledding hill and has a pool and sauna on the first floor which was wonderful for our three kids. Once you arrive, no car is needed for the week. The kitchen is well stocked.

My only caveat would be that there are a ton of animal skins throughout the unit, and if they get damp, it can start to smell a bit like the home of a dog owner. If that would offend, this is not the unit for you! The ski terrain close to the unit is heavy on gondolas and trams without seats and pama lifts. It was a bit of an issue for one of our guests who was skiing on a replaced knee. This was new for us after spending time in Meribel and Tignes.

But overall a great stay. It could be wonderful in the summer for hiking, fishing etc.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of the 4 valleys

The apartment is in a very well maintained block a five minute walk from the centre of Nendaz.

The views from the wrap-around balcony are fantastic and the decor is immaculate. All three bedrooms are a good size, two of them are en suite, with bathrooms that have high quality fittings. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The block has a nice swimming pool and sauna to help ease away the aches and pains of a ski holiday (or hiking if visiting in the summer).

The apartment was in immaculate condition when we arrived and the furniture is very good quality.

Overall, we had a great time there and I would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

Very well equiped appartment

The appartment was very welll equiped with a lot invested in the details. Many small extra's like plugs, candles, spices, etc. The location is very good for skiing. A short walk and with an elevator you stand in front of the gondola. Usually no one in the very well heated swimming pool, but the water is cold. The animal skins you see are real. The number of stuffed animals looking at us was a bit overbearing.

The Chalet-apartment is located in the village of Haute-Nendaz set in the Valais region at 1400m .It provides access to primarily the Verbier ski area via the lifts at Siviez, and the rest of the Four Valleys,including Thyon, Tracouet and Veysonnaz. This provides an enormous expanse of skiing,with all the year round snow because of the Mont Fort glacier at 3300m . You can drive to Haute-Nendaz easily from Geneva in an hour and a half or catch the train to Sion and a taxi ride 20 minutes up the mountain side to the village .

Ski: if you have not skied in the 4 Vallees before, I would strongly suggest that you review the information and interactive map on www.4vallees.ch .

You can walk from the apartment in just 5 minutes to the ski lift taking you up to the Tracouet ski area from where you can ski into the Verbier ski area . It is always easiest to hire a car and then you can drive 10 minutes to Siviez and catch the high speed lift up into the mountains,or of course there is a regular ski bus service ,free with your ski-pass. You can reach the top of the Mont Fort glacier at 3300m faster than if you were staying in Verbier. You also have the benefit of being able to easily access the excellent Thyon ski area.
