House, 4 Bedrooms + Loft + Office, 4.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

This newly-renovated, modern family home is right in the center of everything! A walk out the front door to the end of the street takes you to beautiful Lake Austin. Relax in one of three outdoor seating areas in our beautiful backyard with a serene, park-like setting with a trail that leads down to a beautiful creek bed and walking path to Reed Park or Lake Austin. Ten minutes to Town Lake, Barton Springs and downtown Austin where you can enjoy live music and incredible restaurants and activities.

Our home has a master bedroom with a king bed and walk-in shower on one level, two bedrooms, each with two twin beds that share a bathroom on another level, and a fourth bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom on the top story/6th level. Outside the fourth bedroom is a playroom with a sectional sofa, perfect for small children wanting to be near their parents. In addition there is an office adjacent to the playroom that can easily be converted into a private 5th bedroom with a full bathroom.

Home was completely remodeled 1 year ago and is loaded with windows and huge sliding glass doors. Very open house - Kitchen, Living, Dining and Family Room are all visually connected. Fantastic Chef's Kitchen with huge limestone island and sunken Family Room that is like a terrarium. Use anything we have in our kitchen, including food. Washer and dryer also available.

This 6 level, mid century modern residence is in Tarrytown; a family-oriented neighborhood that is great for walking with beautiful vistas of Lake Austin. It is only a 10 min walk to Starbucks and the local grocery store and pharmacy/small retail center, but if you're up for it, you can even ride bicycles to Town Lake, Zilker Park or downtown.
