I needed a safe place to recover from facelift surgery and this exceeded my expectations. Location, Location, Location, close to everything , local market, organic store, Jardin, park, shopping Ect. I could walk everywhere and the neighborhood was totally safe, as I was traveling by myself the last 8 days. The house is staffed by Veronica the housekeeper "cook" who is fantastic. There is also Ponce , the care taker, who helped me in a pinch a number of times, for example, how to place Mexico to U.S. phone calls. The Casita is absolutely lovely. When we stepped in the door we knew we had reached paradise. The gardens are gorgeous , lush and fragrant, which is why we spent a lot of our time on the roof top garden, comfortable and lots of personality. The beds, linens and pillows are that of a luxury hotel. Sally , the owner, is one of the most thoughtful women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting , checking in on me during my recover plus so much more. She does not skimp on a thing. All our needs were saw too. I had lots of question preparing for the trip and her communication was the Bomb. The owner, staff, and house are a unique, warm and well thought out find in this crazy world.
I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone in any circumstance. This place is a real Jewel in San Miguel. I hope to return soon.
Darling casa. Perfect for 2 couples. Sally met us on arrival. Guacamole and chips awaited us. Beds comfortable, rooftop very nice, close to all, Veronica cooked breakfasts, garden lush. Great price.
My sister and I and our adult daughters spent 4 days and nights at Sally's place. Veronica greeted us upon arrival with chilled wine, guacamole and chips - nice touch. The small home was quite comfortable for the four of us and in a perfect location. The cobble stone street is quaint and if you're lucky, there's an available parking spot in front of the house. Veronica took my sister food shopping to several local stores then she cooked a couple meals for us - delicious. I would definitely stay there again.
This charming property has a delightful owner and a wonderful housekeeper/cook. We were really spoiled The Casa is in a great location although a bit steep coming back from the Jardin. A bonus as it turned out. We were in much better shape when we left inspite of all the tasty food prepared for us by Veronica the house keeper / cook.
Our recent stay at this property far exceeded our expectations. Prior to our arrival the communications with Sally, the owner were excellent and informative. Since driving the small, winding streets of SMA in a rental car is challenging she even offered to meet us on the outskirts of town and guide us to the property. The housekeeper greeted us with homemade guacamole and chilled white wine. Sally has considered everything to make her guests comfortable and feel pampered. There is a very well equipped kitchen, quality furnishings, comfortable beds and lots of places to perch (the rooftop terrace was our favorite). Because of the layout this is the perfect property for two couples with lots of privacy as well as great socializing spaces. The property is immaculate, very well maintained and no detail has been overlooked. One of the very best features of this house is its location. Restaurants and attractions are just minutes from the front doors and yet the street where the house is located is quiet, clean and peaceful. This is the perfect choice in San Miguel. We plan to return later this fall.
