Front House, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6-10),NEW enclosed outside shower

This house has an In-law set up. The front can be rented alone or together with the back, or just the back. Front has 3 bdr's 1.5 baths, back has 1 bdr and 1 full bath. Both have complete kitchens and living areas. Inquire for details of separate or whole house rental. We are located in Middletown, RI in the Newport County. Just 5 minutes from Salve Regina. It is in the Tuckerman area of Easton's Point nestled between First Beach and Second Beach(one of the most popular surf areas in the East Coast). There is also Third Beach that is quiet and no waves. It is perfect for little kids. First Beach is an easy 5 minute walk down our street. Area activities include: surfing, swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing, kayaking, fishing, boating, biking, etc.

Downtown Newport is only a 5 minute car ride or a bike ride away. There you will find fantastic restaurants, ice cream shops, candy stores, shopping, art shops/galleries and a night life. Located along the sandy beaches of one of the most prestigious areas in a quiet sought after neighborhood, our three bedroom beach house has one full and one half baths, fully equipped galley kitchen(refrigerator,dishwasher,microwave,full stove/oven,toaster oven, coffee pot, etc). The open floor plan for the dining and living area with cathedral ceilings is great for entertaining and or just to enjoy a quiet evening. Amenities include washing machine and dryer , internet, cable, tv's etc., Keurig coffee pot, Portable fans in each room, new enclosed outside shower.

There is a sunroom overlooking First Beach where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book.

Most may go to Castle Hill to enjoy a beautiful sunset, we just sit on our deck or in our adirondeck chairs on the front lawn. You will find beautiful hydrangeas set in a lovely large back and side yard. What a great area to entertain and have a barbecue. Our Easton's point location is convenient to many activities,beaches, restaurants, but far enough away to enjoy nice quiet relaxing days!

About The Owner

We purchased our home in 2010. We have always loved being near the beach and have always loved Newport. It is a year round community. We wanted a place that we can share with our children.

We rent it on a limited basis because we try to get away as much as we can given our very busy children's schedule. We live in Connecticut and the trip is only a couple of hours. Sometimes, we just come for the day....just to see the views!

We have vacationed in the Narragansett/Newport and Jersey Shore area for years since we have been married 25 years. We decided to purchase a place here because we fell in love with the area and the spectacular view from the house. You can sit on the deck or the lawn and just listen to the waves break. It is a year round community and a place that we can retire to. There is so much to do regardless of our age or kids ages.

What makes this house unique

Conveniently located , easy walk to Easton's Point First beach , a bike ride to second beach or the cliff walk. A quick drive to downtown Newport, the Mansions and Ocean Drive.

What a Wonderful Experience

My family and I were lucky to have come across such a wonderful beach house to rent for our annual summer vacation. How could anyone not appreciate being able to have breakfast/dinner out on the second story balcony and not admire the water and the Mansions on the Cliff Walk? If you are a runner, this is the perfect place as well as you can run from this location to the cliff walk and have a spectacular run down the paved path wishing that one of those mansion were yours. Upon initial arrival, we were greeted by the owner and her family. A beautiful gift basket was presented. I have two girls ages 9 and 14 at the time, and they just thought the downstairs bedroom was a special getaway and truly enjoyed being able to take a short walk down to the beach and have a great time. Newport is awesome!! In short, if you are able to get a reservation for this beach house, consider yourself fortunate!!
