"Came up to fish and we got snowed out! But, we had a great time! Love the cabin & location! The leaves were beautiful! Hope to come back soon..:)"
Thank you Lindy for a wonderful weekend in your awesome cabin. Bear and Tallulah had a great time playing in the creek. My husband and I had a great time relaxing in the hot tub while our 2 worn out fur-babies passed out on the porch after their adventures. Being repeat visitors we knew just what we needed to bring and once we got the car unloaded we never even left the driveway until it was time to come home. We will see you again soon!
THIS WAS THE PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY. I'D RECCOMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. VERY RELAXING JUST TO GET AWAY FROM THINGS AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE.
What a gorgeous cabin we had! We had a blast!! Even the ride to find the place was extrodinary!
The beauty that surrounds this cabin is awesome. The sound of a rushing creek can even be heard from inside the cabin when the doors are open. This location is my new "favorite place". I will be back! A big thank you to the owner who is so gracious and thoughtful.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and has a top-of-the-line hot tub! There are lots of comfortable places to sit, and the pleasantly noisy creek is great on the porch or indoors with the windows open. The large, flat-panel TV is great for watching movies. All the details are taken care of. The furnishing and the cabin itself are beautiful, and the cabin fits so well into the natural surroundings. You couldn't hear anything at all except the crickets, birds and creek.
The owner of the cabin doesn't advertise the trails in her listing, so this is not a criticism of the cabin at all - more a general tip - but the trails (that start right across from the driveway) are rough and not well maintained. They were EXTREMELY steep and slippery in several places (no switchbacks on steep sections, etc.). Many of the directional signs are lying on the ground. We are experienced hikers, and these are not trails I'd like to take again. Again, this is part of the neighborhood, and is not the responsibility of this cabin owner.
A wonderful weekend - we will be back!
Our family including me, my wife, two little ones under 5, and a blind dog, stayed at the cabin for a solid week. We loved the feel of the cabin. The porch was safe for all our little ones and the creek was sooooooooooo relaxing to listen to anytime. The cabin was ideal because it was located less than two hours from chatanooga and asheville. But I think the best part was no matter where we went, the mountains were cascading in every direction. On the 11 hour carride back home that was what we all kept commenting on what we would miss the most was the mountains.
