This villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite to the master bedroom), family room, separate formal lounge, dining room, breakfast room and kitchen. The large electric heated pool enjoys a secluded outlook, bathed in sunshine throughout the day. The luxurious furnishings and facilities make this villa the perfect choice for your idyllic holiday. The Golf View villa has internet broadband, with wireless access. The pool area is furnished with luxury table, chairs and sun loungers, complete with padded cushions for your comfort. Location: Fairway Oaks, in Hudson, is set in a quiet exclusive residential area of the Gulf Coast, approximately 20 miles north of Clearwater. Close by are numerous beaches and wild life parks, golf courses, shopping malls, cinemas, crazy golf, go-carting, and restaurants too numerouse to mention. The nearest beach is less than 5 minutes drive and has a restaurant,bar and BBQ area. Visit the marina where you can rent boats and jet skis or arrange a fishing trip. Local supermarkets are within 2 minutes drive.

Attractions: Local attractions within 45 minutes drive include the Greek community of Tarpon Springs, like stepping into a Greek village with numerous restaurants, sponge docks and an aquarium with sharks. See the mermaids, water park and wildlife at Weeki Wachee springs, just a short 20 minute drive. Visit famous Bush Gardens, with thrill rides and animal safaris, only a 40 minute drive. Busch Gardens also has a separate water park (similar to Wet'n'Wild). Also visit Homossasa home to the Florida Manatee. Orlando and all the Theme Parks of Disney and Universal studios are only a 90 minute drive away.

Recreation: A large sports centre and park are situated nearby (2-3 minute drive) with tennis courts, swimming pool, childrens play area, fitness track and basket ball. Fairway Oaks is situated on the Links Golf Course. There are numerous golf courses within a few miles which are open to the public and are all excellent. A round of golf including a Kart varies from around $20.

Relaxing Golf View.

We went to stay at Golf View after two weeks of disney and all the fun rides, and what a relazing place this is. We found plenty of places to eat (try Hurricane Hanks at Hudson port) the sevice and food was excellant.
The villa had every thing you need and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was warm although we did not ask for it to be heated so it would have been like a warm bath if we had. The description was very accurate and the travel notes to the property was easy to follow.The villa was very clean and well maintained and we would recommened to to everyone.
The Publix supermarket had all you needed and we found the staff very helpful.
Try the crazy golf on the highway 19 called the Congo River and also the ten pin bowling (if you are a senior it was $1.50 a game), What good value.

We are constantly maintaining the property and furnishings to ensure that the villa always has that "new" look. I think Tish was lucky that the pool was so warm, it was heated for the previous renters.

What a beautiful villa!

My family and I were lucky enough to stay here for a week at the beginning of August and I cannot recommend this villa enough.Peter and Pauline have equipped the villa to the very highest standard and my husband was delighted to find a good selection of books left for guests to read.
The weather was extremely hot while we were there and so the pool was in constant use! To get up early in the mornings and go out and sit on the patio area was so relaxing and a good way to start the day.Sometimes the golfers were already out playing and it was funny to listen to the comments if they played a bad shot!
Hudson Beach is only a short drive away and a good place to go to see some lovely sunsets.Sam's Bar and the Inn on the Gulf at Hudson were good places to eat.If you want to have a good steak then go to Longhorn Steakhouse on Highway 19.
Sadly, our week in this beautiful villa went far too quickly but, hopefully we will go back again and next time it will definately be for longer!

Have just returned from the golf view villa,after spending a wonderful two weeks at Fairway Oaks,The description and photos given did not do justice to this wonderful house.Everything was beautiful in the house,pure luxury.The house is set in a quiet residential area,perfect for a relaxing holiday,but well situated for beach,shops and not to far from theme parks.The golf course is well maintained,with some challenging holes,we watched many golfers put balls in the water.The pool area is lovely with ample loungers and seats. We ate out in the area on several occasions and would recommend Outbacks steakhouse on the 19 and also,Sams at the Gulf View Mall,the food was lovely,the portions were huge,we brought out two full doggie bags. The owners of this house have thought of everything and would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.We found the service we were given by the owners was second to none,everything was as it said and the directions given to us by pauline were perfect.

Why we are regular visitors.

We have been regular visitors to the villa and this will be our third consecutive Christmas and New Year there. So I guess the questions you want answered are "why" do we keep going back to Hudson and 'why' to the Fairway Oaks Estate and 'why' to this villa ?
Hudson is flat, peaceful, convenient and it feels safe. When we
arrive at Tampa Airport it is always at dusk and, naturally, we want
an easy first-evening's drive. Hudson is such an easy drive. We drive straight up the toll-road from the Airport; west on the '50' and up 'Little'. We are snuggling into the villa in about an hour. Once
settled 'in' Hudson remains convenient. It's just a short drive to
either 'Little' or to 'Interstate 19'. Those spacious roads take us
everywhere we want to go. Going northwards our favorite destination
is to watch the manatees being fed lunch at Homosassa Springs (no holiday would be complete without such a treat). Going south our preferred destination would probably be to walk the newly landscaped riverbank at Port Richey - - maybe before we go 'in' to watch a play or a musical in the theatre there - - but we also like to drive to Tarpon Springs where we love walking down the mile-long, sea-lapped causeway to the beautiful, white sanded Howard Park Island where the only residents are the palm-trees. The '19', of course, gives access to many retail malls but 'Gulf View', would be my wife's first choice. And, of course, when we want to take 'time-out' we just enjoy Hudson Beach - which is a bit small but it's nice and friendly.
The Fairway Oaks Estate has lots going for it. All of Hudson's
estates appear sleepy, safe and reliable but Fairway Oaks more so. It's a quality estate which is wrapped around the fairways of the
local golf-course and we enjoy watching the antics of the passing
golfers. Villas on Fairway Oaks are just a short walk to the Publix
which is a really excellent local supermarket. Because Fairway Oaks is quiet we enjoy our evening walks around the many footways on the estate. We seldom see a car moving.
The villa suits us. It is always ready for us to relax. The villa is clean and comfortable with a choice of lounging areas. It also has a choice of dining areas and we love being out under the shelter of the lanii - - which overlooks the pool and the fairway. Breakfast out on the patio is always special of course.

Golf View Villa

We had a great time the villa is beautiful, clean and very well equiped with everything you could possibly need and more!

We used it as a base for visiting other places on the Gulf Coast. Enjoyed a wander round the sponge factories at Tarpon Springs and had a boat trip out to Anclote Island.

Had a great meal at Cody's Steak House (South on I19), try the chocolate gateau (I recommend one portion and 4 forks...never seen such a HUGE portion). You need a car to get around but the supermarket was in walking distance. The beach at Hudson was small and hardly anyone was on it,but you may want to drive to St Petes if you want a large beach area, Hudson beach is fine if you want to avoid the crowds.

Very quiet area, and watching the golfers walk from their buggy's to the tee and back was a hoot, I always thought golf was meant to be gentle exercise not sure that the golfers here got much.

Weather was great for us (Easter 2008) not too hot but certainly hot enough for sunbathing and a dip in the pool, plenty in the villa to keep you occupied if the weather was not perfect (large TV, DVD's, games and books).

Would strongly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday away from the theme parks although Busch Gardens is less than a hours drive away.
