Enjoy the laid back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! Ocean’s Edge is only a short drive from beach activities, the Discovery Trail or downtown Long Beach. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf, the arcade, horseback riding on the beach and carnival rides. The Bolstad beach approach in Long Beach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve.
There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are close by, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.
Ocean’s Edge is a dream come true for your next beach vacation!
