Activities: Beautiful beaches to suit all tastes from the glamorous 'treat day out', to the lovely free sandy beaches where you can take your own delicious picnic and stay until the sun sets. Marineland and the Aquapark near Antibes are great days out for families. The game of Boules, played in most villages is fascinating to watch. Golf, with a range of lovely courses to suit beginner to expert nearby. Ski-ing: the season being from December to the end of March depending on snowfall and just over an hours drive away from the villa at Auron and Isola. There are also some lovely areas for walking, particularly around the Cap d'Antibes.
Shopping:
There is a wide variety of shopping available in the locality of the villa with the lovely local shops and markets supplying superb fresh produce. There is a fantastic Carrefour just 10 minutes away on the outskirts of Antibes and at St Laurent du var, Cap 3000 with Galerie Lafayette, (a favourite haunt for serious shopping).
From designer shops in Cannes to the charming old streets of Antibes with its lovely individual shops, ideal for presents and treats. Juan les pins has a wealth of boutiques and shoe shops and is a fun place to visit.
Valbonne is a joy, get there early on market day and drink in the atmosphere from the Truffles to the fresh olives and tapenade. Visit Grasse, the perfume capital of France and stop off at Mougins to sample its hidden delights and enjoy the views.
Drive to the famous market at Ventimiglia on the Italian border, take a leisurely lunch and shop to your heart's desire. Don't forget St Tropez, with a buzz and charm all of its own !
