Come to Berry Dune! Completed in 2012, this private beach house is a step up in quality and design on Anna Maria Island. We are located 150’ from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, 2 streets away from the traffic and a no streets to cross on your way to the beach.
With a total of 4 beds and baths, 3 bedrooms have en-suite private baths. And one bed room has twin beds and the 4th bath nearby. Each room is designed to be relaxing, unique and private, with built-in cypress wood tables and tops as well as hardwood floors. On the upper floors there is a Master and a “junior” Master. Each is on its own floor for privacy, has a King Bed and a hardwood balcony with a view of the water. On the main floor there is a Queen bed with a private bath.
On the main floor, just outside is a raised (heated) pool that is finished to sparkles like the Gulf waters, all this is surrounded by a tropical hardwood deck with a built in outdoor dining table. We designed Berry Dune so the entire group can be together comfortably no matter what you are doing.
Outside, landscaping at Berry Dune showcases all native Florida trees and shrubs. Most hold berries for the native animal, hence our name, Berry Dune. As a result of this careful selection, you will see a great variety of birds and butterflies as then come to eat and pollinate the plants. No kidding!
To make the most of your vacation, we designed Berry Dune’s kitchen for the COOK or Cooks in your group. Our kitchen is fully stocked. Besides the dishware, serving ware, bar ware, and drink ware, you will find mixers, blenders, waffle iron, coffee maker, espresso maker and more. All selected by a 35 year experienced cook. Also we stock basics ingredients, even including ingredients for baking.
In the kitchen, you will find a Bosch appliances, two nice sinks, one with a high end water filter, and two near silent Bosch dishwashers. Cook simple, cook fancy, the choice is yours. Just know that you can cook for 8-12 people without a hassle. In the morning, make some waffles with Florida strawberries a pineapple-banana fruit smoothie and sip a coffee, before hitting the beach. In the evening use the Gas BBQ to grill some fresh fish and sip a cool drink from the bar
in Summer 2012 we are introducing Stand Up Paddle boards, so you can go for a “walk on the water”. Better than renting, and super convenient, just wheel out Berry Dune’s boards down the street and go for a paddle. Early morning when the water is flat or in the evening, it can be the best! We supply boards, adjustable paddles and a variety of safety gear. Always paddle with a partner and safely! For those who want to fish, there is a kayak setup and a basic spin setup. Great eating Pompano, Mackerel, Flounder and others are all within a mile off of Berry Dune’s beach!
If you want to stay in, Berry Dune has you covered with 40 Megabit internet, the fasted available and with no data cap. Wireless G-N is available, as well as Cat 6 wired to each room. In addition there are 5 LG Smart TV’s wired directly into the internet. With these TV’s you can access your NetFlix, Amazon, or Hulu Plus accounts** directly. Watch that movie you have in your queue on the 55” plasma with the group, or in private in the bedroom on a 42” LCD.
