exceptional experience
This beautiful, serene cabin is nestled in the middle of a beautiful bird sanctuary right at the rivers bend. It is so much more than we had hoped for, rustic feel with the thoughtfully decorated interior. The cabin is immaculate, inviting and warm. Everything was fresh and comfortable. A queen bed that you sink into, a fireplace to warm up to, and a living area to rest in. there were so many unexpected wonderful extras like a Keurig coffee brewer with many flavors to choose from, wonderful feeling and smelling soaps, chocolates to enjoy and even two cold beers in the fridge to get us started. The color scheme inside was very tatseful and was carried throughout the cabin. The furniture matches the rustic feel but has a newness to it.It has a quaint veranda with a BBQ breakfast table and between it and the river lies a outdoor fire pit/grill with views of mountains, vineyards, and beautiful skies.
The graceous owners Ticker and Elaine and their beautiful lab Ember were there to great us with such warmth and sincerity. Their pride in the cabin is evident with their enthusiasm in having us enjoy everything it had to offer. We loved visiting with them and learning about so many interesting things they do. We felt an instant comfort in their presense.
This cabin, experience and wonderful hosts rates a 10/10 for us. We so much wanted to keep this wonderful experience to ourselves for our own future enjoyment but it is too great of a find to keep quiet.
