My husband (Andy) and I (Julie) were both born and raised in Alaska. Andy, Kodiak and Julie, Juneau.
Andy is the relief Captain on a big beautiful boat called the Alaskan Leader. The Alaskan Leader works in the Bering Sea long-lining Cod.
As for me. When im not working on the cabin I also work on a tug boat in town called the Junior. The Junior assist with incoming/outgoing barges into the Port of Seward. The Junior is also the Pilot boat for when the Cruise Ships come in.
I also do snow removal in the winter.
Julie purchased this cabin in 2003
Why Julie chose Seward
As our age comes upon us fast in life we have decided we need a place to call home. One that doesn't move around.
Not being able to have children has turned us to start adopting rescue dogs. We currently have 3 beautiful girls that have changed our lives forever.
What makes this cabin unique
The benefits of this property is when we first were looking for land to build a home the land needed to have certain qualities about it. Like away from the highway because we have 3 four legged children that go out side to use the bathroom and we don't want them to worry about cars while doing their business. Also we wanted it to be at a dead end road so we knew there would be no more homes being built nearby. We bought this cabin and 5 acres two drive ways down in 2003. The cabin has undergone a lot of renovations we think you will like.
We do not live on the property. There is only one cabin at this time located on 1.5 acres.
