Coast and Beach at Los Monteros and Marbella:
2 minutes drive to Blue Flag Beaches or 10 mins walk. This area of East Marbella has the best beaches in the area. We are just a few minutes from the famous Nikki Beach Beach Club, Silks Beach Club and La Cabana at Los Monteros - who knows you may even see Antonio Banderas or Melanie Griffiths - they also have a villa in Los Monteros.
East Marbella is also an excellent area if you like walking. At the back of the house is the 'campo' countryside if you just fancy exploring or Marbella is walking distance along the beach, where you can visit the fantastic and very charming 'Old Town' Marbella. The reserve around La Concha mountain has some fantastic walks and views. In fact the view from the top of La Concha is spectacular if you can manage the walk! We saw as far as Gibraltar and Morocco to the West and Malaga to the East. Well worth the climb!!

The area around Villa Eltay, Marbella:
Marbella town is full of designer stores and fabulous restaurants, all are open late into the evening. A further 10 minutes will bring you to the millionaire’s marina Puerto Banus, where just about every designer name has a shop - Jimmy Choo, Armani, Gucci, D & G, Dior, Versace, Fendi etc. The famous 'Sinatra's Bar' is also here, where people such as Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart and many other famous names have been seen.
On clear days you can see the Rock of Gibraltar, which is approx 35 minutes drive away. Great for tax free shopping and site seeing. From Gibraltar or Tarifa a ferry can be caught to Morocco - Great shopping, and steeped in history, well worth a day trip!
Golf:
We are 200 yards from Santa Clara Golf Course Club House and the first hole. Club House has an excellent restaurant, bar and golf shop with a large terrace overlooking the course. Breakfast here is especially good! Lessons are available with the professional's at the course.
Marbella Golf is behind the villa and can be viewed from Bedroom 3, and the Car Port. this also has a Driving Range as does Rio Real Golf which is a few minutes away (the oldest course in Andalucia). Greenlife Golf and Santa Maria Golf are 10 minutes away - in fact we are surrounded by golf courses - this is Costa Del Golf!
