Nestled in a cove of white sand and beautiful aquamarine water, Sunnybank suites is set in a lush tropical setting among beautiful flowering gardens and fruit trees including Mango, Papaya, Banana, Lime, Avocado and Herb Garden which you are welcome to pick when in season, in a secure residential section of the West Coast beach in St. James. Watch the arrival of the cruise ships as they enter the port of Bridgetown, to a afternoon stroll on the beaches or snorkeling in the coral reefs that abound with beautiful tropical fish, to the time you relax on your patio or sun deck at the end of your day while watching the spectacular sunsets. Every Suite has a Queen size bed, security bars, ceiling fans, air conditioning, full set of linens and towels changed twice weekly or on request, well equipped kitchen including toaster, oven, stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, and plates & cups. Within walking distance are a grocery store, and many restaurants.

Large One bedroom unit with 2 patios, full size kitchen, ceiling fans, queen size bed, A/C, full size fridge and very well stocked with all types of cooking utensils. The patio directly off the bedroom is shaded by a very large mature Mango tree, the 2nd patio is off the kitchen with a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast or watch the sunset. There is also a couch that turns into a small bed that can accommodate a 3rd person. Free Wireless Internet.

Sunny banks is located right on the beach in one of the best locations on the island. Waking up in the mornings and enjoying my roof top patio overlooking the Caribbean was the perfect way to start my day. From Sunny banks I was able explore the entire beautiful coast along St James, including the renowned Sandy Lane resort.

The facilities were wonderful, immaculately kept, providing security in beautiful surroundings. My hosts made every minute of my stay pleasant and provided me with recommendations and suggestions for what to do and see.

This is a great place to stay, in the perfect location providing great value in one of the best locations on the island. I had a fun and relaxing holiday that I hope to repeat it again soon

We've come back to Sunny Banks four times now and it gets better each time. Scott is an attentive host and has been extremely helpful over the years in finding us car rentals and even an emergency doctor at a local clinic.

The apartments are very clean, well maintained and well stocked for everyday needs. The staff are pleasant and willing to offer up local tips. Privacy and security are never an issue. The location is great and is a pleasant beach walk to a great local grocery store and a couple of well run restaurants.

The beach front is superb, quiet and clean. The snorkelling is amazing and we have seen sea turtles, eels, puffer fish, crabs and various beautiful fish varieties. Local fishermen are often seen next door and provide great Bajan lore and genuine pride in their island.

We stumbled upon Sunnybanks but will look no further in Barbados...this place is perfect.
