This is a double bedroom apartment furnished to a luxurious standard with Flat Screen TV and full Beddings for either a short weekend-Break, a week-long stay or on an ongoing monthly basis. The Property benefits include: Dark Wooden floors throughout, a large double bedroom, Bathroom with power shower and a separate toilet. The flat is fitted with most modern amenities including a Washer/Dryer. Newly fitted Kitchen with Gas Central heating. The Apartment is based in one of the first modern Built apartment blocks with in-door plumbing in London in the late 1890’s by Lady Coutts’ (The Queen of England's Banker) for the Spice merchants/Dock Workers unloading spices at West Indian Quay. It is about 5 minutes walk to the historic Whitechapel market. It is less than a minute walk to the local Cinema and Shopping Centre on Whitechapel Road and the legendary Bricklane, famous for its unique “Curry Houses”, chic and trendy pubs, bars and restaurants is a short stroll away.

Great little and cosy apartment with a good and helpfull landlord. The apartment is located in central London close to 2 tube stations, so it is very easy to get around.
The apartment could use some more furniture.

Booked the apartment for a week in september. Here's a summary of pros and cons :

Positive : The owner answered all our questions, very quick response by emails, and was really pleasant when we met him. The apartment was as described and clean. Good furniture in general. Near tube station.

Negative : You have to do the cleaning. Washer/dryer machine very slow. Miss some cleaning products. The area.

Conclusion : We had a great exprience in London and we enjoyed having our own apartment and be abble to live like we were citizens of this great city. Although we didn't like the area of the apartment (Whitechapel), it was easy to have access to buses and tubes and get downtown to the main attractions. My only advice would be to prepare a couple of hours of your time to do the cleaning and it has to be a "professionnal' cleaning, and if it's not well done, the owner has the possibility to not give you back your full refund of ?200. To do so, we had to buy some products because we didn't have much to clean, and we also had to buy toilet paper and paper towels because there wasn't enough. Also be aware of the washer/dryer machine! Read the manual to see how much time it takes to to the complete cycle because it can take ages! To clean the towels and the sheets, the program took 3 to 4 hours and it wasn't 100% dry! By chance we did this early enough so we didn't miss the train to go to the airport! But overall I would recommend this apartment!

Great place for discovering Central and East Lond

We loved the multi-cultural surroundings and the excellent bus and Underground facilities. The close-by supermarket and the many shops plus the street-market with all sorts of fresh exotic products make it easy to prepare small meals yourself in the well-furnished littlel kitchen.
The apartment was clean, practically furnished and offered plenty of room for two.

ground floor flat for two people, with one bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and lounge. Situated in a nice Victorian Mansion block, 5 to 10 minutes walk from underground station. The flat would benefit from (quite) some more things (in the kitchen, lounge and bathroom) to make it more comfortable and homely. A tip: at the end of your stay, you have to do the laundry, so perhaps bring a small amount of washing powder. You are also supposed to do the cleaning. The landlord is friendly, and answered all my emails. He also transferred our deposit within 24 hours, really incredibly quick! Thanks for that.
