Clean and modern log home, so close yet so far!
My wife and I stayed here for a quick get-away from city life, and we don't regret it a bit! The apartment is a large and very spacious one bedroom, was very clean and tastefully decorated to accommodate the log home theme. All of the furnishings were new and modern, we even had a crib available for our baby. The home itself is about 2 miles from the Saugerties Village, but its location along a quiet back road makes you feel as if you're deep in the countryside. The owner was very accommodating to our needs, and she suggested good restaurants and other "touristy" activities for us. Saugerties is a great place to visit in the springtime, and it looks like the summer has even more to offer us! Overall it was a great stay, and we will definitly return to Saugerties and to this log home!

There are plenty of activities available in the area during every season, from kayaking and rafting in the summer to downhill skiing and snow tubing in the winter. There's tennis, golf, mini golf, go-carts, a skate park and an indoor ice rink right in Saugerties, as well as antique shops and trendy restaurants. HITS horse shows run from May until September. Fall foliage is unsurpassed in the Hudson Valley. We look forward to hosting your next visit!
