Falcon cabin is located in the quiet rural community of Mountainside in Fairmont Hot Springs and is well situated to take advantage of several neighboring dining and shopping amenities within walking distance. The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort with its hot pools, spa and resort facilities are only a 10 minute walk away. Invermere (20 minutes drive) features a wide range of shopping, entertainment and dining options.
During the warmer months Fairmont, situated between Columbia and Windermere Lakes, as well as the Columbia River, has easy access to many beach, fishing and boating opportunities. The picturesque natural surroundings offer endless activity choices to explore from hiking to biking and everything in between! For golfers in the crowd, Fairmont has 3 superb courses (Mountainside, Riverside and Creekside) and is part of the Columbia Valley Golf Trail, which features nine golf courses between Radium and Fairmont.
During the winter months Fairmont is well placed to take advantage of the world-class ski resorts on the 'Powder Highway' all within 2 hours drive and include: Fairmont Hot Springs Ski hill (10 mins), Panorama Mountain Village Resort (40 minutes), Kimberly Ski Resort (1 hour), Kicking Horse Mountain Resort (1 hour, 15 minutes) and Fernie Alpine Resort (1 hour 30 minutes).
