Wonderful Family Villa

This is the first time I have done a review but having a rented a villa for the first time direct as opposed to going through an operator I think it's important to share our experience.
The area in Quinta da Lago is fantastic, impeccably maintained and great for families, the plaza has everything you would need to make the holiday work (you must have a car thou as you cant really walk to places) It has a good supermarket for the basics (it's a bit pricey), so if you can shop in the supermarket Apolina in Almancil then it's much cheaper (about 30%) and would be a proper supermarket with fresh fish, deli, butchers etc. Plenty of nice restaurants and amazing beaches in the area we spent a lot of time down at the beach near Vale de Garrao it's between Quinta and Vale de Lobo. It also has some great beach resaurants Julias and Antonios right next to you. The restaurant highlight was an amazing fish restaurant called Casa da Lago on the lake very close the villa - it was expensive but amazing food and magnificent setting
The villa we rented was magnificent (one of our friends thought we had rented an embassy!) and was better then the pictures on the site. The team at the managment company helped us whenever we needed them and were very helpful. They installed a brand new barbeque straight away when the one in the villa broke!
From the moment we arrived to when we left we had a wonderful stay on the Algarve and we would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone looking for family holiday where you can grab some peace and quiet and yet be ten minutes from stunning beaches and the night time buzz of the Plaza
