Photos and Description of the La Caleta vacation apartment rental The apartment is at only 50 meters from the famous El Duque beach!

The complex is very quiet. The apartment owns pool and seaviews. The terrace facing south is sunny quiet all day. In the complex, there are 2 pools and a jacuzzi, one of the pool is heated. The apartment is fully equiped: satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwaves, coffee machine, toaster, hi fi etc...It has been completely refurbished in January 2009. The property is located in the best area of South Tenerife at only 200 meters from the famous Gran Bahia del Duque Hotel.

Location: Tenerife < Canary Islands

Nearest Airport: South airport at 25 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Los Cristianos at 5 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 50.0 Metres
In the South island, you can practise golf all year on 5 marvellous golf greens. You can also visit the Loro Park (may be the best animals park in Europe, The Aqualand (a very big waterpark for children and adults) or assist at the Carmen Motta Show (one of the bigger Flamenco show in Spain) . You can also discover the dolphins and whales by boat or enjoy Jet-ski and dive in the Atlantic ocean. Near the apartment are located karts and quads area. The younger people can use many English and Spanish pubs and discos in Las Americas and Los Cristianos. On the island, you 'll see many different landscapes (Masca, Los Gigantes, La orotava, Taganana). The visit of the Teide(volcano) and his Lava fields are a must. In the south of the island, the temperatures are between 23' and 32ª all year. New!!!! The biggest water park in Europe available from July 2008!

We have just got back from a weeks stay at this apartment. We had a fantastic relaxing week. The apartment itself although quite small is very well equipt, with everything you could possibly need for your holiday, including that all important cool bag for the beach and with the prices in Del Duque you may be thankful for it by the end of your holiday. The only negative thing to say about the apartment other than being bit short on draw space for 4 people, although a built in wine rack managed to double as our draw space, is that it could really benefit from airconditioning. With the temperatures reaching the late 20's it was quite stifling at night.

The complex is beautiful, very peaceful, so colourful with all the flowers and plants, with a lovely heated pool that is always quiet. Oustide the complex you step out straight on to del duque beach. Probably the best location in Tenerife. There are some lovely restaurants and bars here but be prepared to pay for the privelage of staying in this 5* resort. The price for 4 sunbeds and 1 parasol on the beach was over 30 euros.

In summary, a really great holiday location to which I would definitley return, especially if they installed aircon :-)
