Charente Vacation Rental farmhouse: Manot

My partner and I stayed at La Petite Maison in April 2009 for 4 days. The property is outstanding, finished to the highest level for a modern and comfortable stay. All the amenities you could ask for in your own home are there, and the rooms are all spacious and comfortable for a short or long stay. The kitchen and sitting areas are also very large, with modern cooking and cleaning facilities, as well as all the mod-cons you could ask for (Satellite TV, LCD Televisions, DVD players etc)

We also had the luxury of having access to the Barn, which was equally beautiful, and would be ideal for any large family or group of friends. The Pool area is well maintained and a perfect size for swimming or entertaining during a BBQ, with comfortable dinning furniture and sun loungers. There is also plenty of land available to enjoy some outdoor games, or a walk down to the river.

The property is relatively easy to get to from the airport, and there is ample parking space for cars on the driveway/parking area. The location is ideal for those looking for a peaceful holiday, however near to many towns and villages if you would want to do some sightseeing. There are a couple of main supermarkets within a five minute drive, and many small shops and restaurants in nearby Confolens.

Overall, my partner and I could not have been happier with our stay, and look forward to visiting again very soon (hopefully for longer)
