My husband and I love older homes, and live in another 1900 era home just a few blocks from The Wimbush. We enjoy sharing this property with other people who can also appreciate the rare historic homes of the turn of the century. Many homes from this era were torn down in Colorado!
We will only be making it available until end of next summer. Sept. 2014 we will be moving into The Wimbush, with our 3 children.
Who could resist a beautiful old gem like this one? This historic property has been treated well by many owners over the decades, but still needed some final renovations to really let it shine, which are now completed. Somehow, we felt it better to share those improvements with others who have an appreciation for vintage homes.
It's got a turret :)
The Berkeley neighborhood of Denver is one of many older, established areas experiencing a new influx of residents as people have come to realize the benefits of a walkable neighborhood. The 1930's era 'Tennyson Shops' district now features new restuarants, bars, boutiques, and a collection of art galleries -- including a very popular First Friday art walk each month.
