Located approx 10km north of Penticton, in Trout Creek - 100ft from quiet, public beach access, bordered by private bird sanctuary. New (construction completed spring 2011) three story, 3000 sq ft home w/ 3 bedroom/4 bathrooms. Perfect for 2 or 3 couples to share or a family - each bedroom has its own beautiful ensuite bathroom and lakeview balcony Two bedrooms equipped w/ king beds, one w/ 2 twins - all w/ new deluxe mattressess. Beautiful gourmet kitchen w/ access to herb garden, bright open concept, screened outdoor living area, secure indoor storage area for bicycles, gas barbecue, steps from quiet swimming beach. Approx 8 min walk to large, lakefront park w/ tennis courts. Located on 'Bottleneck Dr' (wine route). Great training/cycling base. Road or mtn bike rental avail.

Family owners: John and Sheri Dafoe, from Calgary, AB (co-owner Tomko Sports) and Chris and Lisa Prowse, from Penticton (owners of The Bike Barn)

The Owner purchased this house in 2009
Why The Owner chose Summerland

New home (construction completed 2011). Designed to be our future (multi-family) retirement home. Currently enjoyed as a vacation home, and our rental property. We chose this area for its proximity to beach access, privacy (flanked by a bird sanctuary), and super freindly neighbourhood. The large park/public beach, w/ tennis courts were also contributing factors, as is the fact that the entire area is completely flat, and has very little car traffic. This makes it a popular spot for people to roller-blade, cruise around by bicycle, walk, jog etc.
