Villa Elizabeth is a beautiful detached 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private solar heated pool. The large sun terrace has fantastic views of the mountains and is partly covered providing shade for those hot sunny days, the attractive garden has many mature plants, you may even pick your own bananas, papayas and other fruit to enjoy in season. The villa is surrounded by volcanic walls and has a lockable gate. Inside, the spacious open plan lounge/dining area has been furnished to a very high standard, the villa has a fully fitted modern well equipped kitchen. The villa has full SKY TV including MOVIES and SPORTS with a CD/DVD player, there are a selection of DVDs and CDs in the villa along with an extensive library of books. The tastefully furnished bedrooms consist of one double with ensuite bathroom and one twin. The villa has been equipped and furnished with holidaymakers in mind and you will find everything you need for a perfect holiday for couples and families.

Las Coloradas is a very peaceful exclusive residential area of Playa Blanca. The villa is located very close to the fabulous beaches of Papagayo (15 mins) and within easy reach of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a playground in the village of Las Coloradas (El Pueblo) (5 mins) where you will also find a a couple of excellent restaurants, cafe/bar, bar, supermarket, and a 5-star hotel. A stroll along the beautiful promenade will bring you to the Marina Rubicon where you can enjoy a meal at one of the many fantastic restaurants serving delicious food or sit & enjoy a drink at one of the bars overlooking this 400 berth marina. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast and boasts more sunshine hours than other resorts on the island. It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches. It has a wonderful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seafront bars, cafes and restaurants. The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a short drive away

CHANGEOVER DAY: Thursday is the main change over day for the island of Lanzarote but we are happy to accommodate different days if we have availability. Please contact me for the latest availability.

GOLF: There are two 18-hole golf courses on the island, one is located 25 minutes from the villa, the other approx 40 minutes drive. There is also a 9 hole pitch and putt course in Playa Blanca.

TOURIST ATTRACTION: It is worthwhile hiring a car as there are many places of interest on Lanzarote for you to see, for example the fabulous Timanfaya National Park, Cesar Manrique house (the famous Lanzarote artist), Cueva de Los Verdes (the green caves), El Golfo with the natual green lagoon and many more. The villa has an information book which gives you details on all the local activities and places to see. We can also offer advice on local car hire companies. Playa Blanca now has a local bus service which covers all areas of the resort.

Wonderful Villa and Great Location

We stayed at the villa July 6-16th 2009 with our 2 young children (1 and 2). We were over the moon with the villa and the surrounding area. The villa in particular was very impressive, clean and extremely well equipped. The pool was always a nice temperature and the outdoor furniture was ace. Debbie was extremely helpful and all the directions and communications were top notch.

The Marina Rubicon is lovely for eating out and having a walk around, and Playa Blanca offers some nice eateries at reasonable prices also. We did walk to the Marina one night with pram etc.. and found it to be a little too far (over 30 mins each way) but it was a very picturesque walk along the coast (and so perhaps not the most direct route).

The beaches were all wonderful, particularly the Papagayo ones!! Although there is a 3 Euro charge for entry, it is certainly worth it. Roads weren't too bad either!

Personally I would recommend a car, but you certainly could survive without one. The villa is a nice quiet residential cul-de-sac and not too far to walk to amenities. Although the nearest beach isn't sandy, the other beaches more than make up for this!

A word of warning the local Netto supermarkets can be a bit pricey, however there is a Dino Hyper Supermarket (?) in Playa Blanca and I would definitely recommend using this as it'll save you a small fortune!

I'm not someone who would normally go back to the same place more than once, but on this occasion I am very tempted!!
